seriously, i think an overdrive pedal would do the job better. pero u have to remember na dapat hindi sagad ung drive mo sa mt-2, tapos u don't dial drive dun sa overdrive kasi if u dial some drive dun sa OD unit, u'd end up in mushy hell. hahaha.   taas mo lang ung level, adjust tone, zero drive sa OD unit.

sa mt-2, don't forget to dial in some mids ha.

ako e2 gamit ko...

fender strat - JH1 wah - MT2 - ZOOM 606 - amp

gamit ko lang sa ZOOM ung delay at compressor nya..kapal na ng tunog ng MT2..pag wala ung ZOOm,makapal pa din MT2 pero di maxado boosted.
iniisip ko EQ nlang kulang sa chain ko.kasi ung mga modulation,nkukuha ko na lahat sa ZOOM.mdyo mahal kasi pag single stomps para sa modulation eh..tnxs

dk pa nasubukan ung MT2 + OD stomps...baka mganda din kalabasan.try mo din..

i've experimented with boosting the MT-2 with a Boss OD-2 and a Marshall Shredmaster. it only muddied up the sound for me.

it's really meant to be a stand-alone pedal. but maybe some clean boost pedal can work.

what are you trying to do..? sound louder during some parts? i.e during lead work etc?

if so.. an EQ should be ok.. a treble booster would do a similar job, but i don't think i'd recommend that on an MT2.

try mo din..pero mganda MT2 bsta maayos pgkaset ng idagdag mong stomp..

Minsan boost ko rin yang MT2 more para sa sustain and a little more gain, hehe. Gamay gamay lang sa drive level ng booster mo para ma avoid ang excess noise.

agree ako with jack in a vox... add an EQ sa mt2 para may makunan ka ng pang boost...pero ingat lang sa boost medyo maingay talaga ang mt2, and prone to muddy up your tone...

Anything beyond the 12 oclock dial of the dist is already overkill IMO. Subtle lang ng tonal change pero kung tradeoff niya is noise, it's not worth it. Hinay lang sa pagboost ng metal zone.

what are you trying to do? boost the signal going into the MT2 (OD before MT2 for extra distortion, which i think is overkill) or boost the signal coming out of the MT2 (OD after MT2 for volume boost)?

if its the 2nd and you set the MT2 up with sort of a mid scoop sa eq, get an OD with a slight mid hump (like a TS9 or SD1), set drive to 0, tone to taste and level to the amount of post gain volume boost you want. if you set up the mt2 with a fair amount of mids, get one of the flatter eq'ed ODs (like the BD2 or OD3)
