mas maraming looping options yung LS2; tapos may bypass pa.
tapos parang AB100 lang ata yung AB200, pero more on switching kasi yung AB200 -- may latch/unlatch switches siya, kung di ako nagkakamali.

(btw si sir Turi nagbebenta ng AB200 di ba? i smell GAS...)

I'm still experimenting with placement. Too many od/gain options eh. Perhaps you guys can suggest some alternate pedal placements...

guitar > (optional for strat: SD Pickup Booster)
          > (optional Ibanez Wah)
          > Proctavia
          > Micro Vibe
          > (optional Phase90)
          > Bad Monkey OR TS clone OR modded OD-3
          > (optional gain/distortion pedal: bamf'd SD-1 OR modded DS-1 OR RAT-2 OR JH-1 Fuzz Face )
          > Boston Delay >
tube or ss amp

if the chosen amp has an fx loop, option to move Delay and maybe the Phase90 there, along with a volume box i intend to build.

Thanks, sir markflo! Been searching for the elusive components to several of the Hendrix/Trower sounds for a long time. This is the closest I've gotten so far. Chops and jams na lang ang wish ko for 2007; am done with gear acquisition na.

... on second thought...

sir Poundcake,

I would gladly swap my BM for your TS-808 anytime! hehehe!

Hahaha!!! Lovepedal pala yan. Noice... but I just spent half a year saving up and ordering a vibe, and now that I finally got it, something new and better comes along!  waaahh!!! :-o :-D Ouch! Ayaw ko na! I hope to be GAS-free this year!

my apologies to thread-owner Poundcake for going off-topic...

Going back on-topic, my "minimalist" set-up was:

guitar > SD Pickup Booster > Bad Monkey > Zoom G2 > practice amp

but I'm having too much fun playing with all the new toys, so the G2 is gathering cobwebs.  :-D

question:
is the SD booster only for single-coiled guitars?

nope, but the difference is more apparent in single-coil equipped guitars :)

as of January 26, 2007 at 7:11AM, zero pedal GAS pa rin ako.. hehe! and i love it! more funds pangdate

i think i forgot to post my other pedalboard's routing here:

guitar >> Peterson Strobostomp >> Home Brew ComPressor Retro >> Xotic AC Booster >> Fulltone Distortion Pro >> MXR EVH Phase 90 >> MXR M-117R Flanger >> BOSS TR-2/PS-5/CH-1 (depending on the need) >> TC Electronic Vintage Delay

no more robust routing here! i use this for straight-up playing so that i can concentrate more on burning the fretboard than stomping away. but nothing beats this routing for worry-free playing: guitar >> amp :)

current simple chain..

guitar-->crowther hotcake-->cusack screamer-->boss dd3-->korg DT10(tuner)-->amp

my *weird* chain.. when we play covers.

guitar-->crowther hotcake-->cusack screamer-->POD (w/ long board)-->amp

i use the POD when i need lots of random effects like a wah, flange, etc

tamad setup:

guitar>vox v847>rv3>mt2/sd2>amp

pag matiyaga magdala:

guitar>vox v847>rv3>sd2>mt2>ax30g>gdi21>amp

guitar>phase90>OC2>PS3(chorus mode)>KORGAX1500g>Amp

FX loop send> TR2>DE7(slow delay)>Digidelay(fast delay)>return

wierd no? ako lng ata ang gumagamit ng digital na distortion sounds and stomp boxes for modulations. but it works for me
