upon further reading, i found out that "key's handmade guitars" are based in cavite. would our knowledge of this be beneficial? or destructive? i am having second thoughts about this.
benefits:
quality (affordable?) guitars made by pinoys for pinoys with the endorsement of japanese quality control. something that RJ guitars never had. it almost seems that we, as a people, would look to something with higher value if a foreign country approves of it. i kind of call this the "rizal effect". rizal wasnt anyone worth mentioning before he garnered accolades from foreign countries.
negative repercussions:
there might be a drop in quality control or an increase of price when the volume of production rushes to meet higher and higher demands.
