May I know anu-ano set up nyo when you are using acoustic guitar.
Yep..."not" elec. gtr set-up to sound like acoustic...acoustic guitar lang.

jasmine s80s w/ l.r. baggs ribbon transducer or sagano 000-size acoustic w/ l.r. baggs lb6 --> l.r. baggs para acoustic d.i. --> mixer via xlr output.

acoustic guitar --> chorus --> di box--> mixer..

kasi sa band ko dati.. diretso ako sa mixer eh..

A DI performs several functions:
It converts a high impedance signal to a low impedance signal (although it will also accept a low impedance signal from a preamp, keyboard, active pickup or other electronic device).

It converts an unbalanced signal to balanced.
It reduces a strong instrument or line level signal (and sometimes even speaker level signal) to a mic level signal suitable for connection to the mic input of a mixing console.

It isolates electronic equipment on stage from the mixing console, which can help eliminate interference and noise caused by DC interaction or ground loops.

ako wala... pure gitara lang tsaka yung DI ng bar.... i was thinking of having an fx for it, kaso di ko lam kung ano... wanted to try A2 since maganda feedback ng mga tao sakin, pero since nung college pa ko i've been longing for a Boss AD3... haaayyy... or AD8 kung pwede sana no??? :lol:

ano tunog ng l.r. baggs para DI mo?? ano difference nya sa Behringer ADI and yung sa sansamp?? mganda din kasi feedbacks na naririnig ko tungkol jan eh...:) pasubok nman one time... hahaha

yung l.r. baggs ko sobrang tahimik. tapos it can really bring out the sound of the acoustic. well kasi terno din kasi pickups ko eh. talagang made for each other sila, hehe. minsan pag nagka-acoustic jam subukan mo pre. hindi nya halos nakukulayan yung sound. meron lang sha eq, notch filter, phase reverse. yun lang. d.i. box lang sha talaga.

AW40 - plugged straight through the console (using of course yung xlr)
12 string - di box - console

Ano ba ang kagandahan pag XLR output ang ginamit?

It's strange, my cheaper guitar (Fernando) has this, while my more expensive one doesn't. Yung former, may built-in tuner pa. :lol:
