Tony Williams (Who, at 18, was the greatest drummer Miles Davis has ever seen)

I'm not a drummer, but these are the guys that I enjoy listening to who're doing really brilliant stuff with the instrument; underrated to say the least:

Janet Weiss (Sleater-Kinney)
Martin Lopez (Opeth)
Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree)
