My Direct Drive Super Sport has arrived courtesy of sir spankyrigor, and it killed my overdrive pedal GAS.

Initial review: It's FAT, GAINY yet very CLEAR. I set the external knobs at noon and I already loved what I was hearing. British tones indeed. Squishy mids. Sustain. Harmonics. All in one box. It's very responive to picking as well as rolling off the volume knob.

I got into the Barber addiction a few yrs back after getting the Direct Drive. After grinning from ear to ear from the sound I got off of it, I had to get the others.

Using a DD now, an LTD silver, and a Tone press on my board Wanted to get a Small Fry as well but my board's full hehe

Yeah, not good for the wallet, pero relative sa ibang boutique pedals, mas mura ang Barber. And you get top notch parts and a good presentation nung pedal as well as killer sounds. Imo, sulit lang din.

Finally got to open up the Super Sport. Major major neat wiring as I would expect from Barber!
