But you said,

(no bashing intended)

Anyways. I may also going try it out. I am fan of single coil pickups in mid pos. Might be good for an acoustic sim.

Kasi mas comfi to eh.. etc.. etc.. Eh sa yun yung gusto niya eh..
Yun yung fit sa kanya eh..

sorry sir kung kulang yung sinabi ko, what I mean sa setup is yung full setup nya (amps and effects) going to through several music styles :)

bump ko na lang tong post ko

Let's just skip the sideshow, and focus na lang sa actual reviews ng mag naka-testing.

I think these are the important pointers na dapat abangan and pag-usapan
• kelan ba ito ire-release for public?
• how much?
• gagawa ba si mang max ng Humbuckers? pede ba coil-split if a mang max will make humbuckies?
• magiging available ba in different flavors and voicings?

After maging available for public, then pede na siguro mag-compare.

can just ignore na lang, if we don't like the post of some people

Right now Mang Max is developing three or four variants of his noiseless single coils...then he will apply for the patent before putting it in the market...

He is more than welcome to accommodate  questions, queries about his pick ups...just give him a call or much better drop by his place to test the pickups first hand...

since you're an endorser, any soundclips using the Max Rufo pups? thanks.

I'm sorry sir as of now hindi pa po ako nakakagawa ng soundclip or video...
He gave me a low-output pickups, and since I'm a Rock Bassplayer it does not fit my style. I gave him some comment and suggestion (coz I like Hi-output pickups) then after the event Max Rufo developed it...almost pantay ng level ng DiMarzio. Now tone na lang ang inaayos namin.

That's 1 good thing about Sir Max Rufo...gagawaan ka niya ng pickups na ayon sa tone na gusto mo.

Thank you rin sir. GOD SPEED!

I agree with you bro. Our friend surely have the latter but many are unsure pertaining the former unless proven otherwise.

Well, an endorser Melo has introduced himself. Anyone may start asking questions instead of spending to much time with our friend. I know gonewild will not get wild

@gonewild give my regards to Max..

will surely do Sir. Thanks!

• kelan ba ito ire-release for public? - after siguro mapagka-sunduan yung right tone para sa guitarists and bassists
• how much? - definitely mas mura sa imported pickups, very affordable sa public and good a replacements for stack pickups
• gagawa ba si mang max ng Humbuckers? pede ba coil-split if a mang max will make humbuckies?
• magiging available ba in different flavors and voicings? - yes sir, i think he's building a 3 diff tones/kinds of pickups

Hope this help sir. Thanks!

Hahaha I got J-P-J setup (same as Stu Hamm Urge Bass), but 2 outputs parang 2 bass in 1 (well same as Billy Sheehan Attitude Bass na rin).
Pinabago ko yung tone ng Jazz pickups...with added Hi-output. And the Precision pickups for the midrange.

Maraming salamat po sir. GOD SPEED!

Wow! :-D

Anyway, guys, maybe it's about time we put an end to this.

Let's just focus our energies on how we can help Mang Max improve and promote his products. I'm one of the first guys to ever try his noiseless single coils and let me tell you, his invention kicks ass! I was actually invited by Mang Max to demo his pickups on his next launching, I said yes (if time permits), if I don't believe in his products, I would've answered otherwise.

I noticed that his place is almost at the North Expressway which means malayo sa amin. I am really interested sa pickups niya and try it out. How I wish either he gets them distributed South of Metro Manila via a music store (the most feasible would have to be RJ guitars or JB but I am not counting out Lyric, Audiophile, Yupangco and others).
Kung magre-release ng strat set, sana may demonstration in all 5 pickup configurations.

Just want to share a story on EVH's career

One time long before they became famous...they are still fronting for Ted Nugent and Ted was totally blown away by Ed'a awesome tone... Ted was asking himself what kind of gear does EVH use?...we all know how EVH just "strapped" together his first guitars...and how he bought those cheap stomps and modded it...during one of their shows, Ted secretely plugged in into EVH's setup and to his surprise..it still sounded like him...

what i'm trying to say is...no matter what kind of gear you have ...you will still sound the same...

If I recall correctly, Eddie is now on generation 3 of his equipment.  Funny, he talks more about his equipment than his hands.  And despite Ted Nugents experience with Eddie's gear, Eddie is NOT using Ted Nugent's equipment.

Personally, I don't sound the same on a RJ Guitar into a Hot Cabs versus my Suhr into my Soldano Setup.
