whch compressor is the best? ung stomp lang a.. affordable.. lol.. hehehe.. advice naman po.. dyna comp, super comp, cs-3, mainsqueeze, behringer?? thanks!!

I like the Keeley comp - I use it for bass and guitar.

the Dyna Comp works well too and is used by a lot of people.

If you can order it, it's cheaper than a Keeley.

for the non-boutique compressors, my vote goes to the MXR Dyna Comp. i love the squeaky sound it gives to my clean tone.

for any compressor, the best i've tried so far is the Home Brew Electronics Compressor Retro. vintage sound at its best! it's even better than a Keeley Compressor, in my opinion

icic.. thanks.. parang ang hirap hanaping ng mga effects dito sa pinas.. hehe .. e kung sa distortion or overdrive.. ok rn po ung dynacomp? kasi ung boss cs-3, na try ko, mdyo may pagka-ingay kapag ndi pine-play.. hehe

Although I love the subtle 'cushion' effect of the under-rated Boss CS-2 ..

i think the best way to play a CS-3 is to put a noise suppressor before it. problema ko rin yan before with the CS-3 e, but after i bought an NS-2 i was able to use it. it's an okay compressor, but go for a Dyna Comp.

well, the Super Comp has more options but the Level and Sensitivity knobs of the Dyna Comp are all you'll need. kung makahanap ka ng vintage Dyna Comp, mas matindi yun

i never was big on compressors... it colors my tone so much... but if i can get em cheap (which is highly unlikely) i wouldn't mind toying around with a dyna comp and see if i can get something out of it... if not, then i'll just keep it in storage

well sa US, $70 lng ung dyna comp.. about 3.7k lang.. pero dito mahal tlga.. i think 5k+ ung dynacomp.. hehe.. nagpost na nga ko sa buy and sell na LF dynacomp.. sana may magbenta ng mura sakin.. hehehe..

so maybe i'll settle for the mxr nalang para mas mura compare sa keeley or ung goudie.. hehe

ganun talaga ang buhay pare.. mahal ang shipping costs kasi, plus the distributors have to mark up their prices as well. pero kahit P5k yung Dyna Comp dito, sulit pa rin. actually, sa JB Music ko binili yung Dyna Comp ko

built like a tank and slimmer than a boss and yes pag umpisa ka pa lang sa compressor two knobs is enuff

ow.. mali pala nkita ko, nagsearch kasi ako at lumabas ung "the new aphex punch factory will be released on june 2003 at $199.." hahah kya kala ko $199 ung price.. haha naman.. 3 yrs ago un.. pero mdyo rare find kasi ung mga comp e.. ang nkikita ko lang dito is dyna, cs-3 and behringer.. and i cant wait for my uncle na ppnta sa US ng october.. whehehe.. ang tagal pa nun... ...sleepless nights.. nagbabasakali may nag-pm na nagbebenta ng second hand comp..... haha

+1 for the CS-2's! ...although i only use my CS-2 on clean applications. Pantay na kasi ang tunog kung gagamitin ko sa saturated tones. Nasasayang yung weight ng hard attacks ko kung pareho rin naman pala ang degree nya kapag soft ang picking mo. That's just for me, though...

ok na ko sa clean plus chorus+other mod+ delay.. balak ko tlga gamitin ung comp sa overdrive mode.. hehe... ung cs-3 naman mashado na ma-zsshhhhhh.. unless lagyan daw ng noise suppressor.. hhehe ..la lang.. i think ganun naman mga comp db? or mern mas tahimik but gives the same sustain as the one's na maingay? hehe

ako ok na sa cs-3 plus ns-2.... i actually leave them both on all the time... so far wala pa naman problema...

kasi pag meron ....GGGAAASSSS nanaman!! hehe!!

kasi sabi sa reviews, forgot where i read it.. sbi mas tahimik daw ung dynacomp compared to cs-3.. and ung cs-3 daw mdyo inaalter na nya ung tone e.. ndi na daw orig.. haha
and kng nag cs-3 ako, diba parang doble gastos.. hahah kasi bibili pa ko ng NS.. heheh..
