Question: is it possible to have two outputs on the POD HD500 that's set up like this:

Output 1 - Amp and Cab sim on, going to the house PA mixer for FOH sound [ideally via XLR, mono or stereo].
Output 2 - Power Amp and Cab sim off, going to the house guitar amplifier's FX return / power amp [ideally via PL].

Really considering getting a POD HD to run in conjunction with my individual pedals just so I can get a more consistent sound at shows. Is the above configuration possible? If not, which models of the POD could possibly allow this? I currently own a POD XT Pro and as far as I know this isn't possible.

I see. Naisip ko lang just now, di ba pwede ang dalawang amp models sa POD HD500? Was thinking of having one model hard panned complete with cab sim to the left, while another amp model with no amp sim / cab sim hard panned to the right. Posible ba to?

Pwede pero konting fx nalang magagamit kasi kapos na sa dsp kapag nakadual-amp.

Go for HD500x!!

Ah ganun ba? Di bale, most of my effects will be outboard naman.

BTW, yung DSP lang ba ang difference between the 500 and 500x?

Now my problem is whether I buy a gigworthy amp like a zt club or a pair of powered speakers. A zt club would cost me around 23k and a pair of b112mp3 for 25k at jointventure. Tingin nyo mga sir?! Hahaha my brain says I buy the amp because its so portable specially during gigs and saves me space since maliit lang bahay ko. But my heart says I go for the powered speakers to maximize the potential of my POD! HELP PLS! HAHA

Get the amp. The POD can use clubs's PA systems, most of which are FRFR anyway.

Share lang... was cleaning my drawer kanina then nakita ko yung freebie na headset dun sa biniling laptop recently and out of curiosity tinest ko sa HD300 unit ko and it worked well... tama lang pero hindi katulad nung iba na natest ko (headphones for Ipod, A4tech etc) na ok yung clean pero pagdating sa distortion eh parang punit na lata,

MICROHARD(brand?) then yung model MT-808... nagulat lang ako kasi matino kahit paano yung distortion patches aside from the clean

Any other brands/model of headphones na ntry nyo na with your POD HD units?

Im using my razer elektra pag tinatamad ako magset ng 4 cables sa amp dito sa bahay saka pag nag ppraktis sa gabi.

Just sharing my DIY solution for movable FS labeling in HD500x ^_^.
Pabago-bago kasi kalimitan yung mga FS assignments per patch so I needed something na madaling palitan or baguhin. Kaysa bumili sa gigwrx hehe.

Pedalboard Mode lagi

Magnetic strips lang, paste at papel hehe. Gagawin ko pa sa ibang mga FX sa HD500x hehe.

Hi guys. Need help Lang. Gusto ko kasi ma utilize sa fullest ang gear na meron ako. May Fender American Strat ako at hd500x. Yung mga Hillsong type overdriven sounds nagagawa ko. Pero yung planetshakers type, paano kaya given the fact na Strat itong gamit ko. Wala pa ako funds to buy guitar na humbucker or bumili ng replacement pups sa Strat ko. Texas special ang pups ng strat so medyo bright yung sound. Current setup ko ay slo 100 amp for all clean crunch and overdrive.

Kung sana ay mabigyan ako ng Direction kung what amp model at effects ang gagamitin ko to achieve pshakers type distortions.. Salamat ng marami po mga Bro.!

EQ at the beginning of the chain can help. You can emulate a humbucker-ish output from your single coils by boosting the mids and upping the volume (mid-focus EQ or parametric). Then, a tubescreamer + jcm800 should get you to heavier, thicker planetshakers territory. Timplahan lang, but it shouldn't be too hard.

I don't like adding bass before the preamp - it makes the overall sound muddy. I prefer na habulin yung bass sa amp model mismo or post-amp, so it stays tight. Pero ikaw, puwede rin namang gamitin yung parametric EQ to boost what you like.

May pagasa pa ba Hd300 ko? I try updating to firmware eh nagloko internet. Now di ko magamit. Any one with same problem? Please help. Or benta ko nalng ng mura, tingin nyu? If someone interested PM me. But sana maayus pa sya. Ang price ng repair if ever.
