Anyway, hindi sila kikita kung hindi nila tatakpan. They're in it for the profit. They can buy those guitars cheap and rebrand them and sell them higher. Cheaper than literally making the same guitar itself.

Marami ngang brands na nagrerebrand eh. If you're familiar with Weinstein guitars (some mall guitars on stalls), they also have rebadged ones.

Minsan, pag gusto mo kumita, honesty would be taken for granted. It's wrong but that's how it goes.

I agree. Ang linis ng pagkakagawa. Hindi nasobrahan sa sand, headstock looked neat after the operation.

Welcome to Philippines mafren!  Pero hindi natin alam. Baka naman OEM yung mga gitara. Binibili na ng RJ tapos pinapangalanan talaga ng "RJ".

Interesting development to say the least.  But around the time their factory got burned down, people already speculated re-badging going on.  I think that jumpstarted sales as well, because suddenly their guitars had that MIK quality to it.   Wonder if I'll find anything under the headstock of mine ... Does anyone know much about their business and recent developments?  New factory somewhere?  Anyone sighted raw lumber going in?  In the past few years up to now, I've just been seeing more Koreans looking at guitars in the RJ stores.. hmmmm....

Wala na silang factory. They're back in Ventures Building in Makati Ave. The last time I spoke with Bayani he told me puro import na lang sila. And yes re-badging. But guitars are coming from China yata.

Interesting. Nice binding on the headstock. Think RJ would sell more guitars when more people knew about the rebadged / rebranded axes?

Still, these guitars are hit or miss. Read some reviews and some are satisfied for the price they paid but some are not. Kung maselan ka naman talaga eh. As for me, I've no plans on buying the RJ LP's but hey, if it's 50% off, why not? Just scrape off the top coating of the headstock and.. viola!

Hindi naman makokonsidera na pangloloko ang rebadging kung may kontrata ang 2 partido tungkol dito.
