I disagree.
An honest heads-up on 'what you feel are the limitations of a particular guitar' is helpful.
Bashing someone else's preference isn't, most especially when the basher has no substantial
experience playing the guitar he's criticizing.
A lot of the time, it's HOW you say things.
If you stick to just stating your opinion and framing it as personal opinion, madalas walang
gulo. If you use your 'opinion' chiefly as a springboard for bragging about your $$$$ gear,
or fail to accept that personal preference will often vary, then it can get comical.
Audially, there will always be consensus desirables and undesirables, like sustain for instance.
Those aside, it can be subjective: a matter of personal taste kumbaga, what's desirable and
what isn't.
Much easier to discuss things like quality of workmanship, and physical playability... keeping in
mind that even ^those are a matter of personal preference. I mean, people actually pay extra
for intentionally damaged (relic'ed) merch, and people have playability preferences too (neck
profile or section, fret type, etc.)
