Perhaps he's talking about the tube preamp. I was checking out the stuff at lyric park square, that tube preamp is pretty pricey. but for creature comfort, if your the kind who likes to plug direct or use a power amp it sjould be up your alley.

used to own a b1, its a good pedal! didn't have the time to plug in and play.

Yes, we both have the British Sound and the M-1.

According to Burgerman666:

Yes. The AMT LA's are preamps by name and by definition. They prefer to see either an amp's power amp (via the 'return' in the effects loop) or a house/mixer/computer input.

Thanks for clarifying the use of the preamp. damn, it should be a fine mate to a steady power amp.

I'd love to steal time and drop by lyric again to audition the stuff. You got me missing my B1~!

Since the AMT pedals are going through the effects loop, will tube amps have any effect in their sounds (i.e. going through Marshall MG50 against Marshall MA50 effects loop) or will the sound be basically the same for tube and solid state amps going through the effects loop?

Can i still chain wahwah, OD, chorus and other modulation pedals through the AMT then into the effects loop?

I tested the fatal tube pla. amt fatal tube, schekter with emg active pups at kustom tube amps sa lyric. I wonder why walang sipa ang tunog ng pedal na ito. I've always wanted this pedal pero bakit ganun? I wanna really buy it pero wala yung kick na hinahanap ko. may mali ba sa setup or what? tinodo ko na lahat ng dapat itodo pero ganun padin. pa feedback naman po sa mga may owners at naka test.  :-D maraming salamat
