Sa RG321MH ko, I have Tone Zone and Air Classic. I like the sound I get. It can also do metal, and other heavy genres (depende sa amps at effects), with more clarity and definition.

I had the Air Norton before. Too much low end.

pasyal ka pre, let me know lang when mo gusto try.

Panalo tunog bro, ignore the EQ charts of duncans & dimarzios, magkaiba sila.. mas warm kasi ang highs ng duncans.

Teka, di ba binebenta mo yan SD JB mo?  Free installation ba?

Change of heart? Thought you didn't like the JB dati kasi masyadong bright?  :-)

But I guess ok lang, paired with a PG na bright din, hindi mahirap mag tweak.

FYI lang kay TS. Since dig mo rin ang metal, Lamb Of God guitarists' both use SD JB on the bridge.

@Mark
Mukhang SD JB na nga direksyon ko.  May nahanap na akong neck pick up, yun Entwistle HDN.  :-D

I never thought na sobrang balanced pala, pati yung eq charts ng dimarzio & duncans - never dapat icompare yung dalawa pala.. magkaiba yung 2 companies. Example: The paf pro's highs was set to "6" sa eq ng dimarzio, but it sounds like "8.5" to me pag sa eq ng duncan ang basis.

The pearly gates neck is the best clean i've heard in a neck humbucker. Ok yung combo sa JB, lahat ng position sa toggle ay hindi lang 'usable', all of them sounds surprisingly great! Now i can use all the positions! (that's what she said) :D

As for the SD JB, nagko-compliment sila ng mahogany. The wood provides bottom end and mids, while the SD JB compensates the highs, which mahogany lacks.

+1.

Or maybe because I ran it sa Pathfinder which is a small and inherently bright amp. Tapos ang setup ko pa noon ay JnH (also sharp) and a Vox wah (sharp wah sound). So medyo overkill ako ng matalas na tunog. Lol.

Had an AT-1 before. I ordered one. It was a beefed up PAF. Don't know why it only lasted for a month sa akin. Was ok with it nung bago pa, siguro dahil sa excitement. By the way, I'm ranting about the clean sound.

I can relate to that, marshall amp + stock DS-1 or sansamp gt2 (the only amp-like pedal available 10yrs ago) + JB bridge = Bright as hell :D :D

Try the PAF Pro sir if you really want to go dimarzio. Very expressive & sensitive pup, though it can be unforgiving to sloppy playing  :-D

Sa akin naman, suggestion lang, I put entwistle darkstar pick up in my good old depenable Ibanez RG321 MH weathered black. change pick-up selector to 3-way. all D-I-Y. The results is same or close to DiMarzio activators :D
