Just because it's "overpriced" doesn't mean it's over rated. Some overpriced gear actually live up to their price.
If "overpriced" equipment can actually live up to their price, then they're not overpriced. They're just in a different pricing bracket
Back to topic:
The Van Amps Soul-Mate reverb is overrated for me. Ang laki-laki na, ang mahal pa. Hassle pa sa setup. A Neunaber WET Reverb or an RRR can do whatever it can do, and then some.
The Vox AC30HW series amps are kind of overrated too. Maliit lang ang difference sa tunog ng AC30CC series amps. Not to mention na made in Vietnam na ang mga HW series ngayon. At Audiophile's selling price (P104k less discount the last time I checked), I'd rather buy a Morgan AC20/40 Deluxe or a Carr Artemus.
And as good as they really sound, Toneczar pedals are overrated. The Openhaus is still my favorite high gain distortion pedal, but generally, his product line isn't all that. Most of them are overpriced, the wait time is insane (2 years for an Echoczar!) and the wait list even has its own wait list! And to top it all off, Ed Rembold is a douche. Bad customer service.
