In Memory Of

its a metal-core emoish sounding name but we're actually just a metal band. pero anyway here's the story....

We came from different bands, assembled as a tribute band to Eric Canlas, a good friend of ours. We we're named In Memory Of Eric back then. We wanted to do a concept band at that time.

Eventually we became a stand-alone band and not a project band and we took the "Eric" from the band name. We have always wanted to change our name, but it never really happened so our name stuck.

When we joined Muziklaban 2006, for marketing reasons we called ourselves I.M.O. and it kind of stuck.

So there. hehehe

I forgot to add that Eric's gone. He died in 2005 (R.I.P. to the guy) and the band idea was formed nung nasa wake ng funeral nya, nung lahat kaming mga nagbabanda tumambay.

The Corleones - influenced by New Wave Bands and other british bands ( we cover songs by the cure, wild swans, the church, the smiths and other new wave bands, tsaka kaiser chiefs and bloc party. mga original namen sounds new wave din syempre.)
