Nanowebs are brighter sounding strings, always sounds new.

Polywebs are dark compared to nanos, they sound like 'broken-in" strings (i.e. strings that were already played on but are still new)

I prefer nanowebs for electric and Polywebs for acoustic.

Yung Zoom G3X kasi, may audio interface na rin para makapagrecord sa PC/Laptop, ang gusto ko lang malaman ay kung may pagkakaiba ba sa sound quality kung yung Zoom G3X ang gagamitin ko bilang audio interface para magrecord ng mga kanta kaysa sa audio interface na unit talaga? Ang gusto ko kasi sa G3X ay multieffect pedal na siya + audio interface pa, 2in1 na kaysa mismong audio interface bilhin ko walang effects. Maganda ba ang recording quality ng Zoom G3X? Patulong naman po mga sir, salamat!

summary is: Pwede na.

the G3/G3x can only record audio up to CD Quality (16 bit). ang mga professional audio interface, 24 bit ang recording nila. very important if you're thinking of producing really high quality recordings. pero kung demo demo lang naman, pwede na.

IMHO, different animals sila.

the Super Blues Pro has more gain, hence more  character.

the Soul Food is somewhat a Transparent overdrive. just enough gain to give you extra volume to boost your solos or give you a sizzling tube tone.

I'm planning to install a loaded pickguard into my very old 90's Squier Korean Strat. Alam nyo ba kung kasya ang mga loaded pickguard sa mga Squier Strats?
Nag search ako sa mga forums outside Philmusic and may mga nagsasabi na kasya naman and may iba rin nagsasabi na hindi swak yung mga butas ng screw.

Anyone of you have tried that?

My friend wants to buy a BRAND NEW electric guitar within his budget. I've already recommended to look for a 2nd hand, but he isn't interested to any. (He needs a receipt to show kasi sa church nila, and they want a new one.)

So with this, can you recommend the best Brand new guitar he can get for 10k OR less budget regardless of its brand or kind?

Well, I can recommend brands, and the model is up to you. Greg Bennett by Samick and SX guitars are great stuff for less than 10K. If you want more "established" brands, check the JB anniversary sale, some models may fall below 10K like some Deans.

add a little more and get the PG30. The D&D doesn't sound great when Mic'ed. it's only great for on-stage uses. The PG20 naman, steady lang, pero better to get a 30 or 40 instead.

PG40 IMHO is way better than Takamine D series. kahit sa G series. WAAAAAAY better. Solid top na si PG40. wala kang makukuhang solid top na takamine sa ganung price range. and natest ko yung PG40 ni KrisG, sobrang solid lalo na pag properly setup.

Oh, nice, I'll consider that.  Di ko naman siguro kailangan palitan agad yung tuners? I just remember a forumer having trouble with the tuners on his Phoebus
