In your experience...ano mas versatile dito? If the player would play Pop, Rock, Funk, Jazz and Blues

a. A Gibson/Epiphone Les Paul H-H guitar na pwede coil split/coil tap (6 possible pickup combinations)
b. A Fender/Squier Strat HSS guitar (5 possible pickup combinations)

The Les Paul HH has more pickup combinations. Does that mean its more versatile?

experience ko sa LesPaul with coil tap, it still cant nail the Strat Quack sound, it still cant sound as glassy as a strat. the HSS Strat wins it for me in terms of versatility.

Boss Blues driver Bd2 vs Marshall Blues Breaker - I have a chance to buy either one of them, what do you think?

Bluesbreaker if it's the original big black box one. If it's the new one that comes in a bullet-shaped metal case, don't even bother. Get the BD-2.

Note that when turning the gain knob on the Marshall BB, nothing happens till you get to 3 o'clock. It may be used as a cleanish boost. So if you're after the BB sound, get a Butah, MG or PoT

Hello I'm setting up a pedal board and I just need some help on these 2 EQ pedals:

JOYO JF11 vs Behringer EQ700

Ano mas ok function-wise and price-wise medyo low budget ako eh...or maybe you have other suggestions aside from those two? Thanks!

The Joyo is an MXR Copy and with LED Sliders so thats cool. it gets a little noisy though.

The behringer does the job quite well, however, dont expect to sell this in the long run. behringer pedals have virtually no resale value.

My advice:

look at the ARTEC SE-GEQ, its an 8 band EQ with a tuner as well so 2 birds. the boston EQ100 is another alternative but again, like the behringer, it has no resale value. you can get both used at around 1000 - 1500.

Mukhang ok yung ARTEC sir, yung tuner ko kasi yung Ibanez na digital can't remember the model. Walang backlight tsaka battery lang sya and ayoko maglagay as much as possible ng separate na tuner sa board ko. Thanks for the info sir! How much kaya ang 2nd hand nung ARTEC?

Worth it kaya?

- pang ambient kapag nakacleans
- pang boost and delay texture kapag nagsosolo

sound quality is there, pero syempre, still not at par with TC. mejo nababawasan lang highs ng onti, habol nalang through amp eq to make it sound organic.

all in all, go for it! pero masaya parin na may separate delay pedal.

Yun smaller one yun akin.

Bawas yun highs sa 70CDR? Really? That's one thing I have to really think about.

Ang problema ko kasi if I would have both pedals is the pedalboard real estate. Currently using PT Nano.

hindi naman sobra, for me lang na mejo may pagka maarte, ramdam ko, for other people, hindi naman. ako i learn to live with it. compensate with amp eq.

Yun standard 4 knobs.

Still, it's something to weigh in for consideration.

Thanks paps!

Super crunch box or shredhead? What do you guys think? How do they compare on.

1. Sound - best marshall tone
2. Versatility

I'd like the idea that super crunchbox is already 18volts on the inside (for the lack of better term) so you just need a 9volts powersupply unlike the shredhead, in which you need to have an 18 volt adapter to get it's full potential. At the same time, SH is much cheaper than the SCB.

Super Crunch box. sa price lang mananalo ang SH IMHO. you can get SH Tones from the SCB.
