Lenar ako kahit di pa ko nagkakaroon. Yung kabanda ko lang may snare bag nila. Fully paded talaga. Had kalasag then sold it after few months kahit palugi. Ayos naman yung tela pero parang .5 in lang ang pad then yung handle ay di gaanong kaganda unlike sa lenar na di talaga tinipid yung bag.

different animals, pero construction wise, chapman. malayong malayo sa epiphone if you ask me.

that plustop sounds awesome tho. di lang ako convinced sa tuning stability ng epi.

Just checked Chapman. and it looks good! tho, hindi ata papasok sa tugtugan ko yung pups. So Epi pa din ata ako. :( although parang olats nga construction ng Epi. =))

parehas namang naka Humbuggies yan eh test one. you might be surprised. favorite kong chapman eh yung the Captain. (ML-1 CAP10) ganda lang talaga ng feel at ng tunog. :)

Worried lang ako sa heavy weight ng chapman kasi will be using it madalas sa gigs, sometimes an hour long sets.

Resale value din siguro...

Epi and chapman parehas grover tuners, so siguro right setup ng nut same lang sila ng stability...

Epi naman worried lang ako sa strap button, well pwede naman locks pero oh well...

Nakapag testing na ko ng epi plustop pro sa shop, and ok sakin yung weight.
Nag google ako and found out na 8.7lbs average ang epi but chapman average ng 9.8.... Hay... Testingin ko na lang talaga.

Regarding construction ng epi, promise mukang solid in person.. Kaya siguro magkalapit sila ng price range. Siguro mas better wood selection lang chapman and mas mura kasi di masyado sikat yung brand...

mabigat ang chapmans, definitely. pero paps, mabigat din ang epi lalo na lespaul.

wala rin sa hardware paps, yung slanted headstock design kasi ng gibson at epiphone prone to tuning problems talaga.

well, thats a difference of 1.1 pounds, but of course actual weight varies. yung 1.1 lbs na yan, well depende, most find it negligible, parang wireless pack lang yan plus cable, but you may find it unbearably heavier, so test na lang din.

+1 sa sinabi ni ralph, it's the design of the headstock (angled) that makes it inherently less stable compared to straight headstocks. (pero favorite ko yung feel ng angled headstock)

FWIW mas magaan ang SG or kung gusto mo ng Epi tone (mini humbucker) in a tele-ish shape na magaan din, meron din Wilshire :)
