GASsing for a LP to add to my must have in your life collections...quite a newbie with LP's grew up with fenders and immersed myself about everything about them..only now I felt its the right time to embrace the world of Les Pauls..I want to start by finding the exact model to "VISUALIZE" and activate the Law of Attraction.....and havent got that exact dream model in my mind...been thinking about these 2...maybe today..or in a not so distant future...hehehe...

my gut tells me LP traditional......your thoughts?

A close contender against the Route 808 would be the Vintage Screamer, since both are TS style pedals. Ultimate Drive is like a Fulltone OCD.

Since you want a Power Screamer, the best option would be the Visual Sound 808.

Please help me choose between Roland CUBE-15XL, Line 6 Spider IV 15, Orange Crush PiX Series CR12L, Marshall MG15 or any good amps close to P6000 or less.

What I want:
- A loud amp for rehearsals.
- Works well with a distortion and reverb effects pedal without sounding like crap at high volumes.
- Not too expensive.

*built in effects (like distortion, tremolo, phazer, reverb) are not important since i have my own effects pedals.
*to be used in a medium sized room. a little bigger than the common rehearsal rooms.

So far, I'm interested on buying the Roland CUBE-15XL for P5900. But i haven't tried it yet because i am too shy to test it on high volumes. And the sales guy wanted me to get the P7000 Line6. Can anyone help me choose or suggest a better amp?

Please help a noob. ^_^

mga sirs newbie here..bibili sana ko ng guitar amp and hindi ako makapili sa dalawang ito kc ndi pa ako nakakagamit..d ko alam kung ano mas ok..yung long lasting na matibay maganda tunog sa CLEAN at LOUD para makasabay sa full band setup with DRUMS / Keyboard CARLSBRO 30 watts amp and LANEY RB4 160 watts bass amp ...help me naman mga sirs..thanks po! Get the Marshall Valvestate 8020 in the classifieds.

Marshall are loud, and they do sound better at high volume. The valvestate will do you better than the MG series, IMO of course, and assuming it's in good condition.. And judging from your needs, you don't want a modeller.

In terms of volume, yes.
In terms of clean headroom, no. Especially if your guitar has HBs.
