kung hi gain paps, try mo si entwistle or tesla. imho, between artec and ibanez, i'll still choose ibanez.

THere's actually a vintage (non high gain) entwistle which sounds nice and cheap IMHO, but I don't know why but local importers didn't choose to import these. Weird. sayang tuloy. the HDN sucks sustain, and Dark star's too powerful for my stuff.

Also, nagcheck ako sa intune cubao ata yun, they have it but no longer plans to restock.

High gain sir. mej bright pero tight naman low end adjust mo nalang yung pickup heights and pole pieces. pang chugchugan lol. )

total agree their single coil models are just awesome.

i've been eyeing their vintage voiced pickups as well, kaso wala. panay darkstar at HDN.

ganda sana nung mga tonerider kaso shet, sa Guitar Salon lang meron, ang mamahal pa! bawal pa neck only, or bridge only. set talga dapat. ganda pa naman nung mga covered PU's nila.

Yeah. yung tonerider ko dinaan ko sa amazon, cheaper. Sarap nung AC2 set. hehe. Although nakisabay ako sa friend ko for shipping.

I agree with your quality levels. pero pag single coil paps, entwistle is equal tonerider IMHO.

I haven't tried the single coils, since humbuckers yung gitara ko. Pero kahit sa coil split, sarap ng AC2. Chimey bro.

yung basic FB lang, yes 5 - 7k. yung nova kasi, may tonesuck issues e. That could've been the best choice. Tapos yung next step, which is FB x4 mejo malayo na sa budget at malaki sa board. haha

Guys, a friend's asking me kung anong okay na gitara preferrably tele. Starting out pa lang naman sya and sa church sya gagamitin. budget is 6 - 8k.

oks ba yung California series ng squire na nasa Guitar pusher? I've never heard anything good from squire na ganung level, pero knecarry kasi ng GP kaya I thought there's something in it. Or SX?

I was never fond of Squier. I'd go for the SX. Even better alam ko may mga stock pa ng Greg Bennett na tele, solid yun!

Actually di ko alam, I'm guessing TS 808 pero kasi yung toggle switch nya, switches from the TS's midhump to a blues screamer's flat + treble-ish  sound.

california series, steady naman. its a squier. pickups are a little harsh tho IMHO. so it might need a replacement.

yung Greg Bennett pinakapanalo kaso iba yung headstock and body measurements. it looks like a tele, but its not an exact copy.
