For a guitar touched, blessed and signed by your hero (not to mention it also has the same exact specs, age, etc), I think 100k is a fair price. Some may consider it as priceless, some may consider it as an investment. :)

Here's my 2004 Gibson SG '61 RI signed by Derek Trucks:

Lol parang ka-level yun ng "Koyah penge pick! Koyah akin nalang cap mo!"

Anyway back to the topic. Are you guys also willing to pay 100k+ for same guitar your hero has, with his actual signature on it? If yes, sinong artist?

Katulad dito last month lang, a Vox Guitar signed by Lennon and Harrison sold for $408,000. Check #384, eez crazy! http://www.juliensauctions.com/auctions/2013/music-icons/results.html

By now I'm absolutely sure they're in the hand of legit owners by now after changing hands since 1999 or something.

Yeah i watched this a while back also haha laugh trip yun. Actually na-curious ako after watching that episode pero after looking at the net, turns out Chuck Berry was paid to sign thousands of pickguards before pala.

Lol dapat kasi, valuehan muna nila yung actual guitar, then add a little premium (for example +30%) for the actual sig. Siyempre it can go higher pa depende parin yan kung sino yung artist and kung may documentation like actual signing pics, etc. Dami nagkalat don sa ebay lahat "authenticated" by this or that corporation/company/association or whatnot na mga caps, cd's, posters, guitars, baseball cards, etc.

Para sakin isa lang talaga rule jan, pics or it didn't happen!

A lil curious Sir.How's Derek in person? If George Harrison's here with us today, I'm sure they'll come up with good stuff.

Lol I think you got the wrong impression sir, I got this guitar already signed from Hard Rock Cafe Memphis after it closed down. Apparently, HRC gets the signature of the popular artists that visited or played at their joint throughout the years.

I'm a very cautious man, moreso with my hard-earned cash. Pero after doing my homework intensively (Lol i even contacted Derek via email to check out the pics and confirm everything happened, etc etc), I decided to purchase the guitar as the asking price was already more than fair to begin with (just a little above the price if I bought a used 2004 Gibson SG '61 RI + a vintage Gibson Vibrola).

As cruel as it may sound, this is the reason why masarap bumili ng stuff sa mga naluging businesses. Lol jk
