From my experience, putting the gdi at the start of your chain will surely f*ck up your tone.

I suggest you buy yourself a looper, to isolate the gdi21 and the me50 for a better signal. Nonetheless, regarding your current setup, you can try this:

guitar > gdi21 > ph2 > bf2 > dd3 > me50 > amp

Try to experiment bro. Hope this somewhat helps.  :-)
