i just bought an elixir 9s yesterday from Lyric LCM...

when i installed it early today, all i can say is.... Syet!!! nabuhay ang cheap guitar ko!!! ang swabe nito... probably, im not going back to d'addarios after this...

now, gotta save some money for my other guitars!!!

im hoping to change my string after a year na... with my old strings, more than 6 months before ako magpalit eh...

San nakakabili ng individual strings lang? Naputol yung #4 ko na elixir for acoustic gaugeg 13.

parang speakers yan, kahit mejo low end yung amp mo, tapos palit lng ng magandang speakers, malaking difference yan sa tone mo.

Just sharing my experience with Elixir

Simula nung nag Elixir ako...Hindi ko na pinahiram yung gitara ko! 

Lintik kasi pag nabali ung string Ok lang sana kung sila yung magpapalit pero sulit naman ung strings with the sound and the durability

Syangaps, nagbebenta ba si Xelly ng 11s na Elixirs or 10s lang pinaka highest gauge nya?

Iba yung feel. Parang saken, ramdam ko sa daliri ko yung coating ng string. Kakaiba.

Parang patay yung tunog. Parang mas gusto ko uncoated. Anyone else? O ako lang.

late January. medyo nadedetune na siya after a couple of songs. i think i need to replace them soon.

Yan ang napansin ko sa acoustic strings na na install ko. Though hindi pa gaano nag accumulate ang rust, medyo nawawala na sa tono which is also a sign that you need to replace it already. But it took some time before it get to to this stage..l so, win pa rin for Elixir!

Gauge 9's for 7 string users, gauge 11's for 7 string users. Possible? Yep! Soon at lyric!

mismo bro!!! dami ko na din na-try na ibang strings pero nagulat talaga ako sa result ng elixir.

Dalaw ka sa Lyric, they have spares. Swerte ka kasi ang available spares nila eh from gauge 13 and below.

for me medyo tight ang tension ng elixirs hindi ako masyado nanibago. I'm using D'addario 11's for my strat and elixir 10's for my RG.

I have a question for long-time Elixir users, I have noticed a degradation recently in Elixir's quality.

I have both a new batch of Elixirs some time last Feb and March (both online and Lyric) and have noticed that only after a couple of months the strings are already showing some wears, the others also are being rusty. The sound is still bright and snappy, it's just that they are wearing off quickly compared to the older batches. For some reason I didn't expect this to be with the Elixir's that is why I am wondering if some of you may have noticed.

I have an Elixir that I bought and installed in late 2010 on two of my guitars, up to now the sound is still bright and it even looks newer compared to the newer batches that I bought.

Yes that is an option, however I would like to hear first from the other elixir users if they are experiencing the same thing.
