Mga sir napansin nyo ba sa elixir nano (electric) na parang bitin yung sustain ng 1st,2nd at 3rd strings? parang 3 seconds lang tapos patay na yung sustain compared dun sa wounded strings na kahit 20 seconds na e tuloy pa din ang sustain. Btw, 2 months na yung 10-46 set ko sa gitara ko. Thanks!

Akala ko ako lang. Sa DR red devils kasi dati tunog plastic sha pero hindi naman naging issue ang sustain. Thanks bro!

Sa akin naman walang sustain issues. Posible ring sa set up ng gitara na problema. Nung huli ko kasing pina-set up yung akin, Elixir na ang nakakabit.

installed a set of these Elixir Nanos, gauge 10 I think, to a Genesis Series stratocaster earlier this year. it was my old guitar I left at home, and my sister uses it once or twice a week.

I played a tune on it yesterday. and wow, even if the three lower and lighter strings were dark and appeared corroded, they still sounded good. it's been more than 5 months since I put them there. and the upper three strings still looked good and sounded well

I tried elixir after having used d'addario since taking guitars seriously, damn my sustain got waaaay waaay down. Is it just my technique or is it just the strings that makes the sustain go down?

Sa akin naman walang sustain issues. Posible ring sa set up ng gitara na problema. Nung huli ko kasing pina-set up yung akin, Elixir na ang nakakabit.

Ganun din sa akin bro. Nung pinasetup ko gitara ko, Elixir na pinakabit ko. Happy ako ngayon every time I pickup my guitar.

Nakaintonate naman sha.. tapos fixed bridge pa tong gitara ko (rg321) pero 3 seconds lang yung sustain sa plain strings. Sa wounded strings walang problema, 20 seconds na nagsususutain pa din.

planning to try elixirs. gauge 11 dunlop heavycore gamit ko ngayon. ano kayang pwede sakin sa elixirs?

been using it for years na po. chugga chugga bright tones. tumatagal naman sakin ng 2 months. basta may fastfret. mutant kasi pawis ko eh. nangangain ng strings.

hmm interesting! yun lang pag nagelixir ka na spoiled ka na sa strings. hehe. pero gauge 11 bro if un gamit mo sa heavycores. dont go any lower. i personally not a fan now of thin strings. magupgrade nga ako sa 12s na elixir na eh. nakulangan ako sa 11s for drop b tuning

siguro pag standard tuning mo ginamit yang 12's mag letter "C" na yung neck nyo..

Ah, hindi naman sa intonation yun. Sa action kaya? Baka for some reason yung Elixirs masyadong dumidikit sa frets.

Pa-check mo na rin sa luthier para sure. At least isang gastos na lang tapos matagal mo nang masusulit ang bawat set ng strings na bibilhin mo.

Compared with ernie's balls, elixirs feels malagkit sa daliri ang first three string, cguro dahil sa anti rust treatment, after few days of playing nagiging smooth din but not as smooth as ernie's balls na from the time of restring smooth na talaga' anyway therye incomparable kasi ala namang coating ung ernie ball

Yung mga stainless steel strings nila ang kumakain ng frets.. kasi mas matigas ang stainless steel kesa sa usual material ng fret wires na nickel.. therfore, mapupudpod talaga.. Pero........... meron din ang Alice na coated strings....parang Elixir..

got a set because di available ung d'addario sa binibilhan ko...im convinced. they really last lost and kahit na fersh set, di mashado "bagp" ung feel niya...just right. planning to get a set for all my guitars soon.

loaded 10s on my tele deluxe. nasanay na kasi ako sa gauge 11. dati snarling dogs, then switched to daddarios.

kaso, after 3 gigs, putol agad A string ko. sakit sa bulsa haha. should've stuck to 11s.
