Skillwise, Marty Friedman is too much for Kirk Hammet...

Pero Kirk Hammet has the appeal to make the crowd go gaga.. 

I'm not saying that Kirk Hammet sucks. Magaling din yun ah.. He would not become the Lead guitarist of Metallica kung di sya magaling..

It's like a comparison between Slash and Guthrie Govan..

Guthrie is a demi-god guitarist when skill is the concern..

Pero Slash pleases everyone.. In fact, he was once the highest paid instrumentalist in the world..

marty, hands down.  the real marty is beyond deth.  deth is too constricting for his talent and taste.

kirk on some of his solos seems off-pitch on his bends.  frantic, thin vibrato.  hides behind a wah.  he can listen to friedman's rendition of [gooey brown stuff] e no sanka for a clinic on bending and vibrato.
