When I got my kit in subic,I rented my neighbor's van.

For cymbals,you could do shipping,just buy from the trusted guys here like nick mar, dremtheaterfan and wireme,they offer shipping I think but they are trusted here

i managed to copy some photos galing dun sa seller.

clarify ko lang po. hindi po pala Blackhawk kundi Nighthawk. equipped with generic Hi-Hats and Planet Z ride.

Ito naman po 'yung Pearl Target nya. equipped with Planet Z set.

Personally what do you want? Pareho bang gamit sa studio rental? Check first personally,baka may mga loose thread na kasi from wear and tear.

kung newbiem pa si sir sa world of drums, i wouldn't advise the restoration part. kahit nga intermediate drummer hirap pa rin sa restoration. plus parts are really hard to find here in the philippines unless you're willing to use generic/lazer parts.

pupuntahan ko 'yung seller bukas. mukhang pagti-tiyagaan ko muna 'yung Planet Z na set ahh. di ko naman sigurado kung makaka-tawad ako kung hindi ko kukunin 'yung cymbal set. 1st time buyer kasi ako kaya completely new ako pagdating sa ganitong usapan.

Sad to say. Expedition failed.

Retracted na yung Target 1 buwan na ang nakakaraan daw. Mas nakursunadahan ko yung Pearl kaysa sa Gretsch, yung nga lang di na talaga nya ibebenta eh.

Tama si sir ralph dun sa kutob nya tungkol dun sa Nighthawk. Ayos naman yung mga lugs nya, hindi naman loose. Yun nga lang parang galing sa world war II. Halos lahat ng heads kailangang palitan, especially dun sa bass.

OT: hindi na ako nag-abalang kumuha ng pics. Hindi ko rin naman kasi mabibili eh. Hintay-hintay na lang, makakabili din ako ng drum set sa tamang panahon.

hindi lang good condition sir ralph. as in makinis pa na parang wala akong nakitang scratches. medyo diskumpyado lang ako sa mga cymbals kasi burado na 'yung tatak.

mga ser ok ba 'yung Mapex drums? sa pagkaka-alala ko kasi, nagkaroon yata sila ng clearance sale last Christmas, tapos nakita ko 'yung pinaka-murang kit nila, nasa 8k+.

gusto ko nga sana tingnan noon kaso ang pinaka-malapit na TMS store na mapupuntahan ko eh sa Marquee Mall, Angeles City pa.

Planning to convert my 16'' Floor Tom to Bass Drum..

I'm planning to accept lessons din kasi sana dahil may mga nag iinquire(kahit na hindi naman ako nagsasabi na magtuturo ako o kung ano regarding teaching drums). Gusto ko sanang gumawa ng jungle kit para si student, si drums ko mismo gagamitin niya tas may extra drums pa sana(which is the planned conversion plus the 8'' for rack and 12'' for floor toms) para mas madali rin sana magturo. The kit is composed of 10'', 12'', 14'' and 16'' toms plus 22'' kick. So pwedeng pwede gumawa ng isa pang kit diba?

Anyway, ang concern ko talaga is, pano ko icoconvert si 16'' tom into kick drum? Any ideas pappy harugrugrug? Hmmmmmm

Anak ganito lang yan,hehe,
Alam ko yung jg pearl floor tom converter e pwede pero di ko sure sa gretsch tom mo.
Meron gumagawa dati si dabomb kaso ewan ko Kung panu style nun.nakapasok ata yung tension rod dun sa atttactment unlike pearl iss sa jg converter,not sure though,may nakita ko Allan drumshop ,nakita ko converter niya Kay dreddurius.ask him.

and finally but a bass drum spur na Gibraltar tapos iddrill mo sa floor tom mo,sa Kabila ipameasure mo na lang sa mga metal works guys sa inyo for the height of the opposite side pero butas ng floor tom mo,best option would be jg converter.

Meron din ako nakita dw na binebenta dito pero it's quite expensive pero cradle type siya na ipapatong mo na lang floor tom,hehe.mas Oks yun pero yung price,hehe,at May nakita din akong dunnett sa jb na converter pero mahal din,hehe

@musiciannurse, you need a jungle kit converter. pearl has the JG16 jungle kit converter. meron din si mapex.

its a riser for the floor tom na pwede mong kabitan ng pedal. keep in mind though na you might have to screw on bass drum spurs on your tom.

meron na rin nagdiy nito dito sa forums. search ko tapos post ko dito.

binebenta nya talaga yung pearl last march. P30k pa nga po tapos ni-repriced nya ng 2 beses. nakalimutan nyang i-indicate na ni-retract na nya yung item, si i thought it was for sale pa.

if you don't want holes drilled on your floor tom, get an extra generic floor tom bro. siguro di na lalagpas ng 1k dito yan sa classifieds. hahahaha di pa labag sa loob mong butasan. hahaha
