Yupangco/ Perfect Pitch used to sell genesis series... Before, it was a bit more expensive than the Fernando kits...I think ha.

correct me if I'm wrong.

I remember Perfect Pitch selling this drums way way back. Pearl was still at PP back then. May mga amps, guitars din na Genesis ang tatak. Our church used to have one.

@Noob: Generic kit sa Raon cost 10k or even less. Maybe you can extend your budget a little bit  makakakuha kana ng Ludwig Accent or Mapex Tornado.

yung snare lugs ba standard ang screw spacing? nahugot kasi kinakabitan ng tension rod sa lugs ng snare ko,sa tingin ko bumigay nung tumutono ako. catalina maple yung snare

Saka anu pong tawag dun sa ikinakabit sa toms para maimount cya sa stand/rack? Di ba usually, un mga toms, nakakabit dun sa bass drum using some sort of L-shaped bars. Naka-"shoot" un L-Bar sa butas sa ibabaw ng bass drum tapos un other end is dun sa gilid ng toms.

Anu pong tawag dun sa hardware na un para mai-"sabit" ko cya sa stand/rack? Thanks!

bro kailangan mo ng single tom holder, minsan naman double tom holder yung ginagamit ng iba. tapos bumili ka na lang ng clamp.

Bro pasensya na pero di ko talaga mavisualize hehe. Googled some tom holder's ung mga itsura nila, vertical un bar.

Pag nagrim shot ka ba magkakaroon ng diperensya agad sa snare?
Hindi ba masyadong napuputol ito pag hinigpitan mo ang pag crank sa head?

Pro: Nice warm sound, of which the difference from a cast or flanged hoop is significantly noticeable, if you're playing quiet songs, and in good sounding venues.

Con: Another thing that needs replacement every now and then.
Con: I can't hear the difference from cast/flanged hoop when played with loud guitars.

i'm planning to restore/upgrade my tama metalworks snare.

my plan is

plan A >> pa chrome ko ang shell pati lugs and hoops

plan B >> pa chrome ko ang shell, pa powder coat ko ang lugs and hoops

plan C >> pa chrome ko ang shell, pa powder coat ko ang lugs at bibili ako ng upgrade hoops like S hoops or die-cast hoops / triple flange


help me decide. thanks

I doubt kung meron pero you could try lazer or jb music.

Meron na kong plano sa peds. Bale ang kelangan ko nalang eh yung snares tsaka toms. Cymbals kasi ako na din bahala. Yet di ko pa din maafford yung Jordison na snare eh. Sa mga toms naman kahit ano pwede diba? Hinahanap ko kasi yung maganda yung quality para sulit.
