here's Neil Zaza's live version of "I'm Alright":



the live version is much better than the one in his "Sing" album. ang daming shred parts dito, although he had a few mistakes. pero ok lang, malupit pa rin sya :)

:?:  has anyone here tried a Cort NZS-1 Neil Zaza signature guitar? nakakaintriga kasi e, it looks good e.

Did you notice how dirty the neck was? That means she has been playing the "instrument" for a long time now. Probably from all the "strokes" going "up" and "down" the shaft.

hehe oo pareng Sonny, yung main axe ko na EVH Wolfgang Special. pero hindi birdseye maple yung neck nya, hardrock maple na oil-finished lang pero same asymmetrical neck specs. tinanggal ko yung neck pickup tapos sinalpakan ko ng Fernandes FSK-101 Sustainer para sakto dun sa specs ng current axe ni EVH (yung cherryburst na Wolfgang Special dun sa House of Petals jam nya). magkano ang benta ng EVH Wolfgang dyan? babalik ako sa Seattle soon, yung American Music na shop dun may clearance sale ng lahat ng EVH Wolfgang kasi Peavey HP Special CT na yung minamarket nila hehe hahanap ako ng ayos dun :)

jerryC version yung skin, but recently yung neil zaza live nman, pra mas challenging...


mas maganda yung kay Neil Zaza bro kaso nahihirapan ako dun sa may sweeping na part sa may ending..haha!! tintamad ako praktisin eh..pero kung mabubuo ayos na ayos sana!!

Ang ginawa ko pinaghalo ko yung version nila ni JerryC saka ni Neil Zaza ok din :D

Kahawig niya yung babae sa "Ring-gu" - Maitim na buhok na mahaba at manipis.  Kung yung multo sa sine ay nag-gigitara lang tulad niya, baka hindi ako natakot  :D

you have to try using one extensively. the Wolfgang and Music Man EVH are very close to each other in terms of tone and playability, so i think the "far better" thing is kind of untrue. both were designed for the same guy in the first place, and EVH used both not just for marketing purposes :)
..I only played with the Wolfgang for 30 minutes at GC...didn't like the neck...it was the cheaper version though....not the $2K version

baka Wolfgang EXP yung natry mo. matagal ng walang MIA Wolfgang sa Guitar Center kasi e. medyo iba nga yung neck nun, polyurethane finish e, not as natural as a US-made Wolfgang in terms of feel.
