Please help Acer V3 471g vs Lenovo G470

Hi guys, what would you prefer?

Criteria:
1. Durability of Acer Vs Lenovo.... sabi nila bihira daw masira ang lenovo according to repair people I talk with.....
2. For music recording purposes and some games but not really a game addict, will Nvidia GeForce GT630M (2GB VRAM) do me any good or the Lenovo 1gb vram video card will do me good?
3. Matibay ba ang Acer... based on your experience....

Not familiar with the terminology VRAM. Would the video card ram be sharing the physical memory? Or do the videocards have their dedicated memory? If you're not a video editor nor a heavy gamer, 1GB of video card ram will suffice (Lenovo).

If you don't have an interface for music recording, dedicated jacks for mic and headphones are nice (Acer). Hhhhmmm, but come to think of it, the 10.5K difference can get you a good recording interface. I say go for Lenovo, he he he.

Appreciate your help brother..... I do have an interface a behringer ucg 102.... in terms of durability, can I trust Acer? I talked to laptop repair men and they advised me na ang lenovo bihira nila ma encounter for repair kse matibay daw.... any insights on Acer's lack of durability?

As always, nasa gumagamit ang tibay. Yung netbook namin is acer, ok naman ang build (4 years na). Had some issues with the BIOS pero madaling na-patch thru update. Lenovo naman ang company issued sa akin, ok din ang build at performance (1.5 years na sa akin). Kung 10.5K ang difference, go for the Lenovo. If you can make it 8GB RAM, go for it (biased ako, gusto ko eh maximum ram palagi, he he he).

yeah may nagooffer sken ng Acer for 35900 plus free upgrade. ung lenovo naman 26500 plus 1000 for the ram. halos pareho kse sila pero nag differ lang sa capability in video card. for you pare what do you prefer sa video card? ati by amd or nvidia?
