There's no such thing as "better" than the "best", if you surpassed what you thought was your best, then it wasn't the best you've done.

generally yes. but the best today is better than the best yesterday(unless he stops improving).

What you though was the "best" back then will be downgraded to just "better" because you surpassed it. But better than the best has no logic in place.

Parang mga pinag daanan ni Alex na mga gitara yan. There was a time for him that Suhr was the best, but now he found Gil Yaron and thats the best for him right now. Look at his ranking Gil Yaron=class A Suhr=class B. Pero a few years back Suhr was probably Class A for him.
