Salamat mga Kabayan...:-D

With utmost humbleness, Sana and i hope our country can somehow be more open to import...it seems like you have to go out of the country to get these instruments.I figure :? our country limits the amount of franchized/importers.

I have amassed these wonderful instruments throughout the past 15-20 years, having to wait and keep your cool with GAS.These are all handpicked to my liking...and im sure there are probably better playing/looking axes out there. But i limit myself to what i will use and keep, knowing in the future that i will not lose any value...but then again maybe just a bit.The market will drive these instrument by supply and demand.I guess i've done no wrong here.I know a lot of colleagues and friends, players alike that will knock your socks off when it come to collecting savoury instruments like these.Mine are nothing compare to theirs.Im just thankful i was if ever given a chance to aquire and play them through hard earned job.

I love this site Btw!!! :-D

Cheers!! 8-)

ok na sana collection mo pero
sayang wala kang kawayan strat!?

Anyone want to help me out and teach this computer moron how to post pictures directly on this forum?  I've tried to do it the way it is suggested - but it doesn't work.  I need it explained in a simple way for a simple mind.

Thanks,

Rick

Hi rick,

Get a photobucket account (photobucket.com) for free. You can upload pics from your pc to the album that you create in site. When your pics are uploaded to your album, simply copy the pics you want to post and paste it onto the thread. As if you are attaching a pic to a mail. Happy posting.

graph tech ka na meron sa Audiophile alabang. traditional saddles ba yan? kasi block saddles na yun so mas hahaba ang sustain mo. :-D

just make sure na match ang string spacing ng strat mo with the saddles. iba kasi ang U.S. at MIJ string spacing from an MIM, MIC,MIK,etc.

Bro, Maganda yung graphtech, yung isang strat ko naka graphtech, string saver talaga, mababawasan mapatid yung strings mo.  I think it has more sustain also... I think...

ussfdoc,

Rick, nice strats you got there! I noticed the fender logo on your black strat is a little high, is that a special model?

Hey Bro,

That dark green strat with the pearloid pickguard is an RJ Strat with a Fender Logo stuck on it.  It's a long story, but by profession I'm a psychiatrist.  I decided a while back to do an experiement.  I had six musicians blindfolded and played various types of music on this RJ Strat and a Fender Deluxe Powerhouse Strat I used to have. I told them one was a Fender Deluxe Powerhouse Strat and the other was a strat copy.

To make a long story short, every single one of them hearing the strats picked the RJ as the real strat.  After that, my then 17 year old son stuck the decal on there.

To prove how good RJ's are, I have a friend, who is quite famous as a musician, but I will not mention his name (you friends of mine there who know him be quiet please).  At any rate, he played this RJ Strat for several hours and never knew it was NOT a Fender.

Just goes to show ya, not everything is in a name.

The beat up old one is the real Fender.

God Bless,

Rick
