Anyone here who uses the amp sim of the G3/MS-50G live? Oks lang ba kung isaksak ko sa amp uli? clean amp naman hindi direkta sa mixer. Dapat walang cab simulation??

yes. palitan mo lang output type to combo front. pero I would avoid it kung walang effects loop paps.

Gusto ko kasing i-stack yung drive pedal and amp drive dun sa zoom. sa micro cube oks lang ung tunog, dun sa Marshall MG sa studio grabe parang ang wild..

Amp sim (especially distorted) into real amp = lots of feedback for sure. What's happening is, cab sim or no cab sim, you're feeding multiple (virtual) gain stages into even more (real) gain stages, like stacking three or four drive pedals. If the amp sim is essential to your sound, you can plug into either the effects return or the CD/MP3 input of the host amp, then turn the cab sim off.

Sa PC ka ba nagrerecord? Kung oo, gamitan mo ng cab simulator at salpakan ng impulse. Kung wala kang idea kung ano ang cab sim at impulse combo, check mo sa Youtube.

Kabaliktaran yung case mo nung kay sir jepbueno. Dahil natimpla mo yung patch mo para isaksak sa amp input, hindi siya maganda pag ginamit ng direct na walang amp/cab sim. Subukan mo lagyan ng kahit fender twin amp sim after distortion at tingnan mo kung kamusta yung magiging resulta.

Basic Clean Amp Simulation – FD COMBO:
   Gain – 0
   Tube – 0
   Level – 100
   Treble – 50
   Middl – 80
   Bass – 90
   Prese – 75
   CAB – FD COMBO 1X12 (OFF if plugging into amp FX return)
   OUT – LINE
What is it?: Basic clean amp simulation/direct-to-mixer sound based on a Fender Twin Reverb, with all EQ knobs set to 5. Set CAB to OFF when plugging into an amp effects return input.

Boost OD – Governor:
   Gain – 30
   Tone – 100
   Level – 150
What is it?: Overdrive/booster pedal simulation based on a Paul Cochrane Timmy, with controls set for boosting an overdriven effects pedal/amplifier without changing the overall character of the latter too much. Responds well to volume control changes.

MONO yung nabili mo, assuming you're using an adapter  ....Marami diyan mga fake...yung tipong Stereo output ang hitsura pero Mono pala....ganyan din experience ko nung una

I'll share my personal tips for those who's into high gain(metal) stuff.

Out of the 3 noise gates, (ZNR, NoiseGate, DirtyGate), i found the Dirty Gate the tightest without sacrificing much sustain at your preferred threshold. I always put my gate at the start of the chain to maintain fixed threshold level.

Do you feel like you're lacking hi-mids but when you dial the treble on the drive pedal/amp simulator, it sounds too nasal or harsh?
try adding Bit Crush after the amp sim on the signal chain.
I set Bit to 16, Bal from 20-30,
and set the SMPL(sampling rate) to your taste - this is where you boost certain hi-mid frequencies.

and lastly post-eq using GraphicEQ, cut the 3.2kHz, -2dB to -5dB to taste, the most annoying guitar freq lies around 2-4kHz and mostly they cut on studio recordings.

no sir, the G5 is in the effects loop used only for modulation, noise gate and the tube booster,
the fuzz pedals are infront. Guitar->Mig Buff->Mr. Vermin->amp

Mga sirs may ibang pedal ba na may same effect dun sa stacked cabinets sa amp sim?using a zoom g1x.or sa eq makukuha na un?it adds "balls" kumbaga dun sa dirt before nung zoom ko (marshall jh-1). Ok naman sya on its own pero pag naka on yung amp sim iba eh makapal and mabigat talaga.thanks.

Got  minor problem here, I lost a parameter knob from my zoom multistomp bt100 during a gig. I noticed, the other ones are loosely attached to the unit. Ano kaya maipapalit dito. Kainis, Hindi na stock.
