Question lang mga sir,
bakit humihina tunog ng guitar ko kapag nilagyan ko ng zoom gfx707 ang dulo ng chain ko. bale guitar- analog pedals (boss super chorus, equalizer, joyo pocket metal, joyo british sound, kessler delay at dod digital delay) - zoom gfx 707 - amp.

kapag wala sa chain yung zoom ok naman ang tunog.

baka hindi na kaya ng Power Supply Unit/Adaptor mo yung ganun kadaming pedals, tignan mo kung ilang amperes(A or mA) yung kaya nya.

may sarili syang power supply.

I used to own both. As for me, mas ok ang G5.

Here are some edge of the G5: At G5 you can arrange the pedals the way you like, you can't do that on G9. At G5 you can stack two or three ODs, modulations and delays at the same time, you can't do that on G9. The G5 has the latest zoom DSP chip (i.e. ZFX-IV) compared to the G9. The G5 has a 60-second looper and a drum machine, the G9 has none. The G5 offers 145 effect types while G9 has only 106. If you're to weigh both units the G5 is lighter (3.1 kg) compared to the G9 (5.5 kg). The list goes on and on...

Wala ba talagang delay trails sa G3? 

None. 

I read somewhere that there's a work around for this. You'll gonna need an external footswitch and assign it to mute the delay's input. So you leave the delay at the on position and just mute/unmute its input. Haven't tried it though.

Ganyan din yung ms-50g ko combined with 1-spot and analog pedals.  May umaalon na tunog pag naka 1 spot and combined with OS-2 (ganun din setup ko).

Na try mo na sir yung ms-50g lang mag-isa at naka battery?  Maingay pa din?  Dapat hindi na.

Ang solution dyan is isolated power supply. kasi dapat iba ang power source ng ms-50g vs. other pedal, and separate din yung sa G1XN

Agree ako sa isolated power supply. Mga 1 week din nakalipas mula nung binili ko ms50g ko, tsaka ko nasolusyonan ang hiss. DIST/OD effects na lang ang problema ko kasi malakas talaga ang noise kahit anong mangyari, pero hindi ko naman ginagamit yung ms50g para for DIST/OD.

buti na lang madaling palitan ang battery ng ms50g at AA batteries pa. Yung ginagamit ko na rechargeable batteries sa Gameboy nung bata ako, dun na sya napunta.

I have G5 pero tingin ko parehas lang mga amp sim sa MS50G so ang masasabi ko panalo mga high gain amp dun, my personal favorite, yung Krank Revolution

If I could recall it right the ms-50g has only two hi-gain amp sims available (Diezel Herbert and Engl Invader). The high gain amp sims are ok but not great. You'll get a lot of fizz (hi frequency noise) pass 2 o'clock on the gain knob. Hence, suggest to keep your gain conservative.

I see, yun lang pala available sa MS-50G, pero nung naacquire ko yung G5 ko, the first thing I did is to check and compare all the high gain amps, and my top 2 fave is the ENGL Invader, the 3rd is the Diezel Herbert.

I use the Combo/Stack Power Amp(less harsh/fizzy than Direct IMO) kahit in front of an amp,  the Combo/Stack Front's tone sucks for me even though it is the must supposed to do

@metalheadz, try mo na rin sa preference mo, kasi may some point na natural sounding yung included cabinet sims nila, minsan fake sounding din just like the older zoom.

yung "Noise Gate" gamit ko at usually nasa unahan sya ng chain or before ng distortion or high gain amp.. para same ang threshold mo pag clean and distorted ang signal mo... Pag sineset ko yung threshold I exag. it to max(basta may signal ka pa rin), then try mo magbend ng any note at isustain mo lang, pag putol kagad, bawasan mo lang yung threshold, repeat steps lang hanggang okay na sa taste mo or tolerable na yung pagcut nya.

^^ i dont use noise gate. I just lower down gain. Kinakain talaga ng noise gate ang sustain IME.

I use the ZNR with the threshold level set to minimum so it won't kill the sustain. As the placement, you may want to place it after a compressor or as denden009 cited before a dirt, or you may try to experiment which works for you.

mas pinili ko g2.1u at ms50g kesa sa G3 at g2nu setup ko dati..  mas prefer ko drives at modulations ng g2.1u + ms50g respectively...

IMHO, parang close-to-analog-sound ng drives ng g2.1u compared sa g3 at g2nu..

I only use noise gate if may riffs na may bagsakan or may may parts na tahimik in between riffs. Otherwise I turn it off if non stop ang tugtog para may sustain palagi.

I compared smooth delay ng ms70 with analog delays like dd7 or mooer reecho, mas musical yung amooth delay.

If I'm not mistaken, Boss CE-1 yung nasa G3x mo, which is a Chorus Ensemble, and yun yung VintageCE sa Zoom. correct me if i'm wrong
