Lemme explain. MONO sits firmly in that camp of modern items made with space age tech and what not. Some days I like how functional and sturdy it looks, on other days, it just lacks mojo. To my eyes at least.

What do I easily fall for? Leather gigbag or hardcase. Hard line I know, but MONO confuses the hell out of my traditional sensibilities. Unlike the reunion blues bags, which you can say hey that's so classy, but it's really built like a tank with modern day design features. Just hate how the purse-like pockets look.

So yeah yung gusto ko sa MONO yun din yung ayaw ko. Haha. It's nuts. If anyone is reading this and feels the same, PM me. Crazy, right? They're still cool and anytime I see one personally I still swoon over it. Kaya lang, it's this love-hate 'thing' that has so far kept me from buying one.

may "low end" na mura and magandang gig bags ba ang mono? ahahaha price kasi ng vertigo, half the price na ng gitara ko tsk2 really tired of bringing a hardcase parang matatanggal na ang balikat ko pag maglalakad at aakyat pa ng overpass haha.

these are all of it...theres one more thin-but durable gigbag inside the acoustic gigbag I forgot to put out..and theres still the gator jazzbass hardcase that I left in the office as..its too bulky at home...hahaha

hoping to cut it down to just 3, 1 electric, 1 bass, 1 acoustic.. soon..

the rockbag acoustic case is on the selling block..never liked how sloppy and bulky it looks.. just got a cheapo-semi light styro hardcase, looks sharper..kahit kabado ako na masira agad yung zipper sa pagkachipipay...hahaha

I dig the slim fit of this thing..kesa yung isa sa foamy, and bulky, daming sabit sabit..

Hi mga sir. Anyome tried the Mono Vertigo sa pag travel via plane? For example hindi pwede handcarry kaya kasama sya sa ibang maleta. Ganito kasi nangyari sakin kanina, buti ok pa ang prs se gig bag at ang gitara sa luob.

I wrap mo ng plastic film,usually avaialable yun sa aiports..or balot mo ng box with makrings na fragile guitar..
 para di madamage yung exterior ng bag..may first line of protection..

alam nyo ba may mga nag rerelic din ng mga tweed hardcases para magmukhang vintage?! I read an article once..

anyway..I alos the like the look of these tweed cases..very "guitarist" yung dating..lalo pag medyo worn down na..haha

I have a tweed hardcase, roadrunner lang... Pero I kinda messed it up.. as in puro stickers and all. yung side on top may naka glue na beer label collection ko (paper glue lang naman hehehe) I like it that way.... pero I was thinking. pwede mag peel yung beer label or what. nakaisip ako ng mas extreme na pwede gawin.... clear coat the whole thing! :p haha. Di ko pa nagagawa kasi mejo nghihinayang ako eh. XD

Recently got this really funky gibson case, but according to Qroon and also from a lot of internet comments..the shoulder strap is pretty weak..especially at the top portion...I really dont know why Gibson skimps on their guitar gigbags...love the shape though and it fits my Jag HH perfectly.....anyway....just brought out the old danish cookie canister sewing kit on a lazy sunday afternoon and did some sewing...
reinforced the whole top area..with stitches here and there..TWICE! ...I didnt want it to go through the plush inner lining but, I had no choice..no biggie though..could easily live with the interior marks...even got a shoulder pad from some extra bag slings to complete the thing...

at least I know it wont break off anymore that easily...

Now how to make the pockets bigger to put in cables and stuff!??!
