Pwede din ba isali dito yung pedalboard gig bag? IMO, Butch Dormitoryo pinaka-matibay, yung saakin, 6yrs old na, buhay parin, zippers, strap etc., kahit ulanan, hindi talaga nababasa, and I gig with it 6x a week, hindi pa kasama mga out of town gigs, matibay talaga!

heard good stuff about Butch Dormitoryo made bags..good share at least magspread yung word... :)

Rockbox ba yan?

well.

nung mag inquire ako sabi sa akin they have a ready made gigbag for a semihollow.pagdating sa metting place, its for an acoustic/full hollow bag.since sayang naman ang pag punta at mejo mahal ko gitara ko, i bought the thing anyway.

singbigat ng hardcse yung gigbag.aside from the fact that the straps are not really thought out.kung mabigat yung bag, dapat sana naman na balance yung straps, palapadin at mejo itaas.

di maganda yung center of gravity nung case e.

nung tumawag ako just o have the straps repaired modified, sabi sa akin kasing presyo daw ng magpagawa ng gigbag yung pa modify ng straps.astig.hahaha.

i also have another one from them that i got from a trade.issue pa din yung weight at straps.

very durable pero kung ganun din lang at mabigat, plus you cant walk a mile in it?whats the use?

kaya hunting ako ngayon ng hardcase.

imo, gigbag makers/luthiers/pedalmakers should listena nd provide support for customers.since we are their direct consumers, we know what we want.aside from we are getting it customed anyway.sana din may after sales support.

im now selling both items anyway.

I believe that the definition of definition is reinvention. To not be like your parents. To not be like your friends. To be yourself.

Completely.

I invest on quality hard cases, yung maganda ang padding para kahit saan mo ilagay safe.

Bought my hard case in RJ. After 3 years, it is still working. Of course already has surface dents and the has worn off leatherette but still fine. No worries to guitar accidental damage as long you're using hard case.

1. Just in Case molded electric guitar hardcase

I've had this hardcase for about 3 years now and it is very reliable. Built by the good folks of Jenardlyn Bag supply in Marikina.
looks a lot like Fender's Molded hardcase, fits strats and teles or similarly shaped guitars. quite heavy but is definitely sturdy unlike those cheaply built economy hardcases available at music stores.

2. Lenar electric guitar gigbag

Been with me for 3 months now, looks really great and has a lot of good features to make sure your guitar is secure inside the case, ample padding all around the guitar and reasonably priced. definitely worth the money and if I'd need an extra gigbag, I'd definitely get another one.

my favorite case was a molded coffin case.
and since i had 2 guitars then, i needed another one, hence the ibanez prestige case.

but it was tough back then and i had no choice but to let them go.
im still on the lookout for the same model coffin case.

currently, here's what i have.

it's what you call a "gator fetish".
3 out of 5 cases have guitars in it.
2 out of 3 guitars are up for sale.
and the board only has 1 pedal in it.
from the looks of it, i might end up collecting cases instead.

I bought my first case before I even got my first electric guitar. It was a rectangular hardcase(of course I wanted to look cool. hehe). And it didn't even fit my guitar properly back then. It was about a month before I got tired of lugging the thing around.

My second decent guitar case was a gator guitar slinger, very easy to bring around but lacked padding. So I sold it along with one of my guitars. Got an SKB molded hardcase after, I think this is the best hardcase for fender type guitars. Very light and not half as bad to lug around. it Then I also had a bumbum gig bag, had that one for a couple of months then sold it also cause it was too bulky to commute with.

My favorite gig bag was my PRS bag, the one that came with the SE models back then(not sure if its still the same with the current SE guitars). Padding was just right as well as size. The straps were comfortable and I really like the small compartments they had inside the big pocket, you can store small items there like your tuner, pics, etc. I regret selling that bag when I got bit by the bike bug.

I use a Vertigo. First thing I did after I got it was to put my tele in, syempre.  Tapos binagsak ko (yung boot yung una) para ma-test yung nasa videos ng Mono.

Cool!  Tight fit rin ba yung guitar body?
The reason why i prefer gator slingers kasi no space para gumalaw yung body sa loob ng case.

Tight fit, since my PRS SE has a slight carved top compared to older models. I tried it with a Tele, and it doesn't move around din naman. We have two of these PRS gigbags at home. One grey and one red.  :-D

Thoughts..

PRS SE gigbag > Gibson USA (made in China, see tag inside) deluxe gigbag pictured earlier.  I can say as much right now.  There's a reason bihira lumabas sa classifieds.  Nice fit. Sturdy feel, comfy backpack straps and wraparound handles.  Even has a tiny 'boot' or should I say 'shoe' at the bottom.  Only 'flaws' would be limited pocket space, a bit of bulk also if you like sleek, and that SE logo.

Yung Mono daw actually flexible hardcase yan. :-D Still on my GAS list.  But a bit too much for me on the modern vs classy aesthetic aspect.

I'm GASsing for a TKL hardcase.  Best fit daw for my LP.

Had a musicians friend gigbag before. The beefiest baddest thickest looking padding.  Has side walls, detachable main pocket with its own backpack straps, another pocket near the headstock than can fit a small multi.  I don't regret selling it.

Also had countless 1.5k priced generic nylon bags from audiophile before.  Decent padding.  Tends to break at the boot area.

I keep on hand also decently padded (can stand up on its own unloaded) leather gigbag.  Currently the least protective of my gigbags, but I love the looks.  Me likey for short trips.

Below 1k gigbags with no padding, just nylon?  Forget it.
