Bassist si IncX pero he is a a GAS god. His Wick basses, boutique pedals, humongous amps. And GAS literal, naka unleaded na SUV, sinundo't hatid ang vocalist para sa gig na 5 songs (250 km).

haha, man, if there is funding, and there is a team ... i would be more than happy to do that.

i mean, its really a point of interest ... the ones with the best gear aren't the famous musicians, it is the musicians who play below the radar, working day jobs, and just spending money in search for the perfect tone.

however, it is all just a fantasy i guess. i remember the FilMet magazine ... had a lot of plans with it, ppl spent money on it. it lasted 1 issue. it was a brave project ... but with not enough market to support it, it only ends up becoming an expensive and time consuming hobby.

-*-

lol @unleaded gas god... literally!

i would also like to add Karel (bass gas god) and of course, BH barbie! have you seen her pedals?!? and the best part? she knows how to use them!

If magkaroon ng PM "physical" magazine, it will be the first magazine na magsasubscribe ako! hahaha.

Nakaka-excite ang topics:
-Gear section/reviews
-Interviews sa gearheads/under the radar maestros and gas gods
-Interviews sa famous musicians
-tapos may tracking down of instruments ng mga legendary filipino musicians
-tapos may pics ng mga tao sa rats hahaha joke

^ Hahahaha, astig noh, kaso I think digital format mas masaya..why? kasi pwede may comments section, interactive with other forumers..

paano ba natin masasabi sa TS sa RATS feature..

"THIS THREAD IS USELESS WITHOUT PICS" hahaha

pero, exciting nga makakita ng physical magazine for the pinoy musikero..

uy interesting topic!

hahaha yung post ni maxi musikero...nandun na lahat..

looking back..

wala na yung GAS thrill...for me..benta na lahat ng pwede ibenta..and pag may dumating lang na malupit na item..na swak sa presyo tsaka nalang ako bibili..

I still remember the early GAS days..talagang...babad na  babad pa ako sa classifieds..forums..now adays..meh nalang...may occassional urges..like ngayon..Taylor sana..haha
oh well..pero sa pedals..medyo nagsawa nadin..kayang kaya na lahat yun ng ms50g..and pag regular gigs at rehearsals..who the heck would want to lug a 20 kilo pedal board..

As much I have enjoyed Guitar Central, I HAVE to move to drums.  I also have fatty liver and am GROSSLY overweight.  So, the extra calories playing drums will help ... in a year's time hopefully.

Also, my Feng Shui consultant was shocked by the amount of amplifier head and cabinets and square guitar cases and has RECOMMENDED that I have them all locked away in a closet.  Also, I have to stop buying any gear that resembles a box or coffin.  He believes that bad Chi will collect in them.

So ... Iyung may schedule akong utang pwede pa rin pumunta -- just fixing my room and cleaning up the clutter before Chinese New Year -- kaya semi retire ako this year.  All I can say intially, is that drums are as equally anal as guitars.

here's my fb photo album, you do not need to add me, the album is open to the public:

https://www.facebook.com/reuelrocks/media_set?set=a.122392792317.103471.542492317&type=3

currently, i am not interested with gear or music. i still buy some gear from time to time (for completion's sake) ... and oh, i am foremost a bass player. if you need help or tips in the gear aspect (especially bass pedals), i could help a bit.

Im assuming that this is a customized shell made especially for you because craviotto's though very expensive, does not usually cost THAT much. might be the wood as well?

IIRC, Tutti of 6CycleMind has a Craviotto maple.
