OO buhayin tong pinoydrums para naman hindi lang din puro FB page drum ang napupuntahan naten tambayan din natin tong pinoydrums..!!

I agree with inigo. Dati kasi "dark ages" pa with regards to using the internet as a tool for drumming or getting better at your craft. Umuusbong pa lang ang pmusic. I remember Everything was exciting tapos may drum clinics, eb's. Ang saya.

Dito ko nakilala ang mga hanggang ngayon walang sawa sa pagsagot kung may tanong ako regarding drums and recording.

I guess ngayon kasi mas madali nga magpost sa fb. Lahat na naka-wifi. Pero i still lurk here everyday, more than once a day actually.

Ang nakikita kong hindi maganda sa fb drum groups IN GENERAL is parang walang unity. Ang daming groups, tapos within that group nagkakampihan pa. Sa totoo lang, I really don't mind, parang telenovela pa nga e. Hehe. Pero ewan ko, siguro napagiwanan na tayo ng panahon. Hahaha.

Share ko lang, nagpunta ako nung drum workshop ni Mr. Alba.
Magaling pala sya magturo, yung paraan nya ng pageexplain napakaeffective.

kaso di ko matry, wala kasi akong time, kit, and moral support hahaha.

anyways, sana magsilabasan na ang mga pioneer dito, or kahit mga bago para mabuhay ang pinoydrums.

Siguro we can promote the forum, kung may mga kakilala tayo na newbies pwede natin I-direct dito sa site, let them start a thread, ask questions.. mga ganon ba.

pwede kaya magstart ng thread ulit,

halimbawa. paradiddle application for dummies.
tapos mapupuno yung thread ng tips on how to incorporate the technique sa kit and other things na pwede pag gamitan nito... may post videos as well or any resource na pwede iembed...

not really my login creds but my friend was generous enuff to lend his password so i can use this account.

i'm posting kasi gusto ko magpasalamat sa lahat ng mga post na 'worthwhile' dito. marami sila na nakatulong sa kin sa pag share ng 'knowledge & experience'. peeves would be on the top dahil sa mga diy, avant-garde, etc nyang post. and a lot of forumers with lots of tips [buying, cleaning, modifying, playing, getting inspired, eb, etc]

tama si sir harughug, posting indeed helps. meron nga lang sa tin [like me] that aren't fun of fb or other social networking. although social networking din ang pinoydrums/philmusic > this was the format that allows us to be honest without compromising our identity. there are assholes every now & then, but we only pick worthwhile stuffs.

anyway, just my thought. siguro busy lang talaga lahat sa kanya kanyang interest. but a beat is a beat. we're all drummers in this lifetime. some of us haven't figured it out yet.

I guess ganun talaga,to look at the positive side e may naiinspire sila sa drums na baguhan,kaso nga lang yung philosophy baka naabsorb na din na sana wag. Na ang Kewl way e double pedal blast,stick flips etc na di na pinansin ang groove.
Kasi mga napansin ko sa iba,ang concern nila e mga drum battle at mga solohan against other drummers matira matibay.then I'm the man, which is not dapat.

yeah I notice too. medyo malungkot ng nga dito. it was started when the website temporarily down for few months. syempre excited lahat na bumalik ang site. ako nga lagi ko check kung up na ulit yung site. kasi marami tayong napupulot dito.

and then siguro sa sobrang inip ng mga user. may isang user nag create ng fb group. i'm not blaming the group owner. peace sir!. medyo karamihan kasi fb na gamit. unang-unang nandun na lahat ng needs natin sa fb. bat pa nga naman sila babalik sa site. nakakalungkot lang wala na contributor. actually pwede naman lahat maging contributor. share lang mga bagong ideas, DIY,etc.
