people here whine about zakk playing pentatonic scales most of the time... i don't see anything wrong with that... heck, did anyone bitched about bb king playing just the blues scale? or how about clapton? clapton doesn't play a gazillion scales right? and even if all these legends know a million scales, would they use them all in one song or albume? or more importantly, would you write songs so you can use the scales, or write songs and use whatever compliments the song?

i hate whiners.

if you can do what zakk wylde can do with the pentatonic scale, then that's great. but i bet you can't. so fvckin shut up and keep practicing til you can visualize the entire scale on the whole fretboard.

and btw, those who think zakk = pentatonic, better listen more. he's more than that. if you can just grab the album "guitars that rule the world" you know he can let it rip playing country-style guitar.
