After years of playing, I still don't know how to _______!!

I cannot

-Shred
-sweep pick
- play a pinch harmonic
-tap    (harmonic tapping is a different story)
- play metal

I've never invested practice time on those things because I never liked them in the first place.

after years of playing. I still don't know how to:

1.) play the intro of "sweet child o' mine" properly
2.) play the whole of "more than words" except for the first few chords
3.) play any metallica song from start to finish (my playing these past few years is leaning more on metal)
4.) finger-tap
5.) pinch-harmonic (although sometimes I get lucky)

After 23 years (more or less) of playing, I still don't know how to shred. I want to learn it just for the sake of being able to do it when the need arises, but I haven't got around to actually learn it. #sigh

identify right away the notes I'm playing on the 2nd to 4th strings. That's why most of the time, when doing improvs, I struggle in playing according to the chord progression of the song.

Naalala ko sinubukan ko ito sa harap ng bahay namin kasi lawn kaya naisip ko ayos lang kahit bumagsak. Ahaha unang try ko lumipad yung gitara pero hindi naman nasira. Nabasa lang ng konti kasi may hamog pa yung grass (umagang umaga kalokohan agad). Anyway nagawa ko naman kahit pa walang tape or straplock haha. It was a raon guitar. Nainggit lang ako kasi yung isang gitarista na kabanda ko dati paikot ng paikot wtf, haha.

I think he's referring to the correct number of turns/tension of the adjustment.

Di ko rin alam kung ano ba dapat ang gagawin AFTER mag-adjust ng truss rod. Ang alam ko lang inaadjust nya yung relief ng neck.. tapos yun lang, di ko alam kung tama na ba yung relief, tapos kung ano dapat adjustments sa bridge at jung anuman

ideally dapat may metal ruler ka..and feeler gauges to accurately set the neck... kung technical person ka..ok.. as for me..I just go with feel..and find the sweet spot where everything feels right..by a bit of this and a bit of that...not that efficient I know..but its fine..

pagtancha ng paggalaw ng neck...I feel..dapat madami kang experience..sa pag kalikot..there are guitars that react quickly sa slight turn..may iba..minsan wala pa..lalo sa mga chipipay na gitara with inferior wood and materials..

explore lang..and do a bit of research...youll get the hang of it...

Everytime rod is adjusted the tension, string height, intonation and saddle height changes, and vise versas. i always adjust my guitar according to the manual yung intonation na alam ko is yung intonation lang as 12th fret  ,  it takes time para maging stable yung adjustments. no wonder mejo mahal magpa set up.

After years of playing, I still don't know how to "cifra" fast passages or fast guitar solos in a song. 

But really, in most cases, mas okay pa sakin magmodify o magimprovise. Parang ang hina ko tlga dto. Lalo na pag madaming nota tapos labolabo pa ung recording.. :/ Unless na bagalan ko sya or hanapan ko ng tutorial or cover sa youtube, normally di ko tlga sya makukuha .. And i'm just amazed and wondering how other people on youtube kaya get it, and accurate pa per nota?? Haha. Wala lang, naisip ko lang .. sinslowdown din kaya nila yung mga ganung sections?
