I think there is no such thing as "broken chords".  Nagiging complicated lang yung tipa to make it sound better and right.

Looks like walang may gusto sa favorite chord ko ha.....

But kidding aside, i like all dominant chords on the A position. With funk, simple changes between the dominant forms of the same chord (ex, changing between D6, D7, D9, D11, Dsus2, Dsus4 etc), combined with rhythmic muting can create some interesting grooves.  Then play some myxolydian single notes over any dominant chord, and you already have a funky tune.  Versatile, yet very easy once one learns the concept.

Sabi nila ang happiest feeling scale ay D Major. I say G Major comes really close. Agree ako dito.

On the other hand, nakakarindi yung open G pag mali ang tuning/intonation ng gitara  :|

ako din... :) di ko alam kung bakit pag hawak ko ng kahit na anong gitara, biglang naka position na yung kamay ko sa G chord...
minsan nga pag mag tono ako, dun na ko naka base sa G chord, dapat maganda sa tenga.haha! :lol:

Ung Chord pag nag drop D tuning. I don't know what chord it is, but when I tune down the E string then hit that sound with the 6th and 5th bass strings, alam ko na naka drop tune na ko, heavy.
