Sir nivleklive's custom order:

  • PED-2A & PED-AC2 in one
  • 10 x 9.75vdc @ 2500mA (3000mA @ peak) with 2 x 9.35vac @ 2000mA (2500mA @ peak)
  • 2" height x 3" depth x 7.5" width.

Circuit:

Finished Products:

Those 2 jacks between the green and the yellow LED are the 9vac.

Ground Clamping for humless & noiseless (PA System).  Baka mag demo ako nito sa bday ni sir markflo on how to eliminate an enormous amount of hum and buzz.

Bow ako, Sir Emil. Ang ganda! Kailangang maka order ako n'yan pag nagbakasyon ako jan.

Kailan ba meng.

May papahabol sana ako kay sir markflo sa bday mo kaso i would like to discuss it with him sana kung paano or baka after na ng bday mo.  Kasi alam ko hindi yata siya makakapunta sa bday mo because andun yata yung in-laws niya when he will arrive back there.  As i red his postings somewhere. :-) 8-)

Zoom G7.1ut ba bro?
15VAC 1500mA..

With regards to my 2nd PM. Tnx :-)

Baka pati yung 3000mA na gagawin natin ma-trim down to 6-8 outputs nalang.  Pero kung 16 outputs, basta give the right specs (power consumption) for every pedals you have or better yet lets test the original psu for those pedals (like what i've trying to tell).  Para sure & win-win situation tayo. :-) 8-)

Allan look at the pedalboard.  Sir nivleklive has Boss ACA type (Phaser) & Line 6 Tonecore (Echo Park).  But isolate supply for the Digitech Whammy since masyado madami yung 9vdc pedals niya tapos meron pang DD-20 which has a 200mA current draw.

So looking at the psu..  Yung Boss ACA tye (Phaser) & Line 6 Tonecore (Echo Park) are using 9vdc from the 10 jack outputs.  While the digitech Whammy uses any of the 2 Jacks from the 2 isolated AC jacks na malapit sa power switch.

Big current drawing pedals like Digitech Whammy should not be plugged in any psu with a 1000mA ratings kahit na 14 outputs pa yan.  Current ratings will determine how many outputs you will have.  Example:

  • You have a psu with 1000mA with 10 outputs.
  • Then you have a Radial Tone Bone, a Boss DD3 and Boss CS3.

It's original psu is rated 1700mAYan ang sinasabi ko.

Just like what happened when we used Line 6 Echo Park & Digitech Whammy simultaneously with the 2 AC jacks.

Since kung gagamit ka ng 9VAC with Line 6 Echo Park.  You will need a stunning 2000mA 9vac and a 1300mA for the Difitech Whammy.

Kaya mag me-meltdown ang xfrmr.  Kahit na we used a 2000mA for both of it to share.

Gets nyo ba? :-)

So the best talaga is to compute the total current draws of every pedals you have or will be having in the future.  Then compute for the appropriate current for the psu that we will create.

Here's my proposed effects pedalboard. As can be seen from the picture there are only 14 pedals. I'm still trying to order a TU-2 & NS-2 from BossingBoss. So the pedalboard will be basically as large as a guitar hardcase as can be seen from the pic. I also wanted to incorporate my Zoom 707II but it would make the pedalboard larger & it would no longer fit in a car's trunk. He! He! He! :-)

So the pedals are supposed to be chained this way:

guitar-->TU-2-->DimeWah-->CS-3-->TS-7-->LS-2-->GE-7-->Rocktron Nitro-->DD3-->CE-5-->EH-2-->amp

LS-2 Loop 1 (Lead tone)-->DF-7-->Danelectro Wasabi Distortion-->DanEcho

LS-2 Loop 2 (Rhythm/Chug-Chug tone)-->MT-2-->Line6 Uber Metal

NS-2 (I still don't know where I would place this. :-))

All the Boss pedals are PSA powered except for the CS-3 which is ACA powered.

Once I have the other 2 pedals which I'll need & additional patch cables, then it would be a go for the Pedal Max PSU.

I'm also trying to find a pedalboard maker which would give me a reasonable price for a pedalboard this large. I want the power cords to run underneath the board so that it would not be messy looking. :-)

Thanks & more power!!!

Emil,  I'm planning on building a pedalboard and I'm very much interested in getting one of your power supplies. I'll be purchasing the following:

ISP Decimator
Power consumption :35mA @9VDC

MI Audio Tube Zone
Current draw: 10mA
9 volt DC port (Note that the Tube Zone has been
designed to run comfortably up to 25V.)

REAL MCCOY CUSTOM 2 Wah
Current draw: 10 mA
If an AC adapter is used, the adapter requires a 5.5/2.1mm coax plug with a negative center post, 9VDC AC regulated Class II, 20mA to 200mA max current output.

Peterson Strobostomp
Power: 9VDC 80mA (Nominal)

Boss DD20 Delay
Power Supply
Current Draw
200 mA (9 V max.)
Dry battery (R6/LR6 (AA) type) x 6: DC 9V
AC Adaptor (DC 9V)

Boss BF-3 Flanger
Power Supply DC 9 V; Dry battery (9 V type) S-006P/9 V (6F22/9 V)
Dry battery (9 V type) 6AM6/9 V (alkaline)
Current Draw 40 mA (DC 9 V)

Which power supply do you suggest I use?

But if we gonna run the tube zone on a 9vdc siguro maganda kung taasan yung current para hindi kapusin..  Suggestion lang.

Great bro..  Now if you happened to have existing psu on these pedals:

ISP Decimator
Power consumption :35mA @9VDC

MI Audio Tube Zone
Current draw: 10mA
9 volt DC port (Note that the Tube Zone has been
designed to run comfortably up to 25V.)

REAL MCCOY CUSTOM 2 Wah

Peterson Strobostomp

You can bring 'em to..  A little test will help us a bit.  8-)
