para sakin, wla tlga makaka higit or even makapantay sa na achieve nila.. they were considered as the Beatles of the philippines.. di kanaman siguro macompare sa beatles kung di grabe kasikatan mo. ska mga album nila noon, siguro mga isang kanta lang di sisikat per album, lahat alam ng mga pinoy, ngayon, per band, mga isa,dalawa lang sisikat tpos la na. saka ngayon parang nakadivide un mga crowd ng banda, dati talgang sa eheads lang, though madmi din banda noon, ngayon la ka masabi na sila ang superior.. halos magkakalevel kasikatan ng banda ngayon. ska lam ko kya nabuo ang rivermaya dati dahil humahanap sila pantapat sa kasikatan ng eheads... wla talga.. tama si pareng georgyporgy, parang sino ang susunod na MJ. madami mga magaling na player sa basketball pero la makapantay sa na achieve ni jordan. ska i can say na tlagang naging impluensya ng mga bandang sikat ngayon ang eheads, in a way, may marinig ka sa mga songs nila na me pagka eheads ang dating...

Sayang... Kala q p nman parang "The Corrs" ang dating ng lineup. Musta na nga pla c toyang? Kc alam ko, technically, siya pa rin ang asawa ni ely kahit c diane ang kasama nya ngeon.  At saka ung 14 yo na anak nila (pls correct me bout her age) maganda kea? ka-age ko kasi...

pero ang porma ni eon... nung comeback gig ng pupil, nagpakita na agad ng personality. mana sa daddy... "just say no" daw... ah ewan... xenxa n nagmukha na tuloy the buzz ung forum dhil sa post ko...

It's been an issue before when the "Juan De La Cruz Band" was disbanded.  Like who will be the next JDC.  But frankly, or maybe music changes over the years.  No one did.  And why?  Mainly because JDC curved a new path into music scene that sticks to the mind of people.  And other bands followed never did what JDC did.  So to speak.  The same question thrown when E-heads disbanded.  Just like JDC, their entrance to the music scene was like a boom.  Why?  Again because they curved a new path to the music scene like JDC did.  That is why no group as of today had the chance to repeat the same history.  Hope there is really. :wink:

i dont like to think that e-heads will have a 'duplicate'. if ever there will be a band who will become the next eheads, i just hope it's in terms of their own musical style and identity or in terms of fan base too. but also, considering how a rock icon eheads had become, in terms of their musical influence as well. come to think of it, i'm not even comfortable comparing the eheads with the beatles. eheads ay eheads at ang beatles ay beatles.

anyway, to finally answer the question, i'd like to vote for either of these 2 bands:

i would have liked to nominate KIKO MACHINE. they're great and awesome performers. buti they haven't crossed mainstream yet like other bands. para pa rin silang underground band that a few (like us i suppose) are aware of. Sa NU syempre madalas napapatugtog ang Kiko pero hindi rin naman buong pilipinas ay maka-NU. haay..sayang.

malamang may phenom band ulit pero they have their own impact thru the struggles na dadaanan nila....

E-heads is e-heads.... tatak na ng philippine music history yan..... kaya ok lang may idolo ka para inspirasyon pero wag mo gayahin dahil sigurado...... hindi maganda ang kalalabasan... :mrgreen:peace....
