wala talgang proper way ng pagtapak sa pedal. kung san ka comfortable eh di yun gamitin mu. pag heel up. more powerful nga lang ang attack at mas malakas kesa kapag nka heel down. :)
watch your problem? ;p

pre - isolate your dbl pedals when you play, practice with them alone if you can using practice pads. do you play heel up or heeel down? from the sound of it, you have a hard time coordinating your hands apart from your feet. i started playing drums without a double pedal and even now, i tend to use my dominant right foot for double accents, only adding double pedal phrases with my left foot at specific times. some people play with the dbl pedal all the time but i figure i would get used to doing things with my single pedal more and gradually work dbl pedals every so often while I play. if i can get a recorder out to the rehearsal space, i can record a few phrases to better illustrate what I mean. if you need a good song to practice with, try Perfect Circle's Judith, I introduced my feet to dbl pedal use through that song.

Uhm, when did Tim Alexander apply double bass drumming in the song Judith, I can't really distinguish the drum parts.

doing left lead kung right handed player ka, right lead kung left handed player ka...

know your comfort, tapos just do simple EVEN strokes kahit mabagal pa yan with the ride cymbal... yun lang pag balanse na yan sir, try moving up tempos kahit by +3 lang muna...just my thoughts sir.

next time na yung ibang mga patterns...what you need to build here is consistency and comfort para tumagal kayo.
thanks!

subukan mo yung mirror system ni jeff bowders.

^ Double bass...  Playing the bass drum with your two feet, using either two bass drums (a double bass kit) or a double bass pedal.

It has various applications, and it can be used in many styles of music.

From Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bass_drum

Double Bass Drum

In some forms of jazz, many forms of heavy metal, fusion and some more extreme forms of punk, two bass drum pedals are used, one operated by each foot or a double-bass pedal used to utilize two pedals with only one bass drum. The idea for the double bass drum setup came from jazz drummer Louie Bellson when he was still in high school. Double bass drums were used initially by jazz artists such as Ray McKinley and Ed Shaughnessy in the 1940s and 1950s, and popularized in the 1960s by rock drummers Ginger Baker of Cream, Keith Moon of the Who and Nick Mason of Pink Floyd. Originally two tuned bass drums were used for this, but a double pedal on one bass drum using an extension mechanism is now common due to lower cost and ease of tuning. But with a double bass pedal, because of the amount of air being moved around, amplification problems can occur especially live, and many inconsistencies with studio recording. With most Extreme Metal players using trigger pads from a drum module to make the bass drum recording/playing live easier, there is controversy about 'tapping' and 'cheating' by using high sensitivities in order to play fast, consistent sixteenth or thirty-second notes. Some drummers have also experimented with two different bass drum tunings, sometimes combining this with double beaters so as to have more than two pedals. This is also used to create a definite tone difference to distinguish a certain cut between chops. Tim Alexander from the band Primus is known for doing so.
