GAS BUDGET FOR 2007

G- agalingan ko na lang ang pagpapa practice ng guitar

A- laws kasi ako ng

S-alapi

(may budget for next year is 200php for string replacement only)

I got a Peavey Valveking 112 for 19,700 pesos in 2006 and it is an AWESOME tube amp.

Yeah - I'm not complaining.

What I do want to get is a PRS Santana, but I don't think irt's gonna happen at that price.

... all my GAS related spending this year have caused my savings to hurt a bit,
lie-low till mid next year is my new years resolution

Yup - I'm quite excited about it. I love small practice tube amps and Crates have a "boutique" amp tone for poor folks like me.

But my budget has been reduced even more.

4.5k for the amp.

I'm paying 14k for a strat and 7k for another RJ PRS Copy.

That brings me down to 24.5k left.

I know I had my gear funding set for this year, and I never looked at getting a cab to record or gig with until I recently played through a Bogner 2x12. I don't know what they put in there but it definitely has less of the boom that people associate with Mesa cabs so much, and it has more of of the highs and mids which makes high gain amps cut through a LOT more, imo. Hopefully, I can find a used one somewhere...

a small tube amp for 2007. i actually want that crate vc508 being targeted by doc. hahaha...

anyway, an epiphone valve junior will suffice for 2007. i actually bought all my gear this year. spent approx 90k pesos already.
