I remember seeing David Aguirre and Manuel Legarda doing the same solo at the same time together.. Astig talaga. Sabay na sabay. Kala ko nasa langit na ako eh.

haha, natawa naman ako doon, it was just a figure of speech. high ako because of the music. sobrang wonder and awe sa nakita kong double guitar solos ni dave and manuel

i wouldn't say he's the best, but he's got to be one of the most interesting guitarists out there. he comes up with interesting textures and sounds with his guitars. yes, i'm talking about Jerome Velasco (formerly of teeth/daydream cycle/the mongols). he's got to be one of the most underrated guitarists in the country. does anyone here in the forums know if he's still active in the music scene? not as a producer/engineer etc but as an actual musician. i'm a really big fan of his work and would love to know of his current activities in the music scene.

btw, please don't mention "laklak", its got to be teeth's most popular song but we've all got to admit that it's not their greatest work. it sounds like a bunch of 5 year olds playing guitar. it would be in tracks such as "princesa", "darating", and "dogs can fly" could you see the genius in his guitar work. it reminds me of mudhoney and dinosaur jr. very loosely played and quite slack in his soloing, but that's what makes him so fun to listen to.
