i recently finished mine:
size is 12x24





got the board from ACE, laminated na yun
handles from ACE as well, had it screwed on the board dun na din
rubber stoppers from landmark hardware
tapos ayun na. dinikit ko nalang yung velcro sa board.

May nabibili bang mga case ng mixers? Basta yung pwedeng maging pedal board for 8 pedals na case na siya talaga.

Have you noticed, yung ibang carpet madaling naghihimulmol as opposed to the ones that are very durable? Kahit after first time mo pa lang dinikit yung pedal, pag tanggal sobrang worn out na agad yung carpet.

Meron nyan. Gamit ko ganyan. Usually if you don't know how to remove your pedals, ganyan mangyayari. Pero if you use a thin PLASTIC to slice it in between when you remove the pedals walang problem. Masmadikit kasi ung ganyan na carpet compared sa iba. Based on experience lang naman to ha. Pero if you want na walang himulmol and madikit, you can get one of those industrial type velcro sheets sa states. I'll try to post some pics kung pano gawin. Hindi lang kasi dretso tinatanggal ung ganyan eh. Wrong technique=bad results.

ito mga sir, DIY na pedal board ko noong january of this year, tapos i heard of Mang Frank at nagpagawa ako ng BIG board kaya di ko na ginagamit.

Pwede rin acrylic lang ang board mo tapos lagyan mo ng velcro. Ipasok mo lang sa backpack, tapos na agad! hehehehehe

Gumawa din ako ng sarili kung pedal board, after kung maibenta ang aking gigbox jr.
        Nakakita ako ng lumang PC table na hindi ginagamit ung may design, kinuha ko yung pinagpapatungan ng CPU sa ilalim.. Then bumili ako ng double adhisive tape 3M para madikit, un ang ginamit kung instead of velcro.
Ito po ang pic.. 


So kung anong pwedeng mapagpatungan ng pedals as long as hindi mabigat pwede na din.

di naman mabigat sir, dipende siguro sa materyales.. mas mabigay ung gma flyboard na ginagawang mga cabinet..

hhhmmmm.... Here's some tips.

ACRYLIC
1. very very very fragile stuff. you should be careful in drilling holes and stepping on your pedals coz the surface tends to bend.
2. It's pricey
3. Really neat if you have something glowing behind it
4. You DON'T NEED VELCRO for this type of surface. Just use 3M DOUBLE SIDED tape

CARPET
1. If you know how to take care of it, it would last long
2. IMHO, the best material for a pedalboard

TOLEX and LEATHERETTE
1. Same as acrylic stuff but should be handled with extra care.

maybe. but for me it's ok. I will just try to take some pics. Coz Im now using bicycle chains din bro eh. Pero ung ibang pedals na walang screw, ok naman. May ibang materials pa ba for carpet na pwedeng gamitin?

Kaya pala you sold it. You can use marine ply pero mas mabigat un. If you're thinking of hardiflex mas mabigat parin. If you're thinking using wood slabs, much heavier. Maybe the only way to go is ALUMINUM or get a smaller size board or divide your setup into two section para dalawa bitbit mo and ma-devide ung weight. You can try to ask your local hardware for confirmation sa differences sa weight na binigay ko bro.

Yung pedalboard ko acrylic din gamit ko tapos pinatungan ko lang ng illustration board para hindi masyadong manipis. May mga mumurahin namang acrylic nabibili, punta lang kayo sa mga glass shops. Double sided din ginagamit ko pandikit.

Acrylic glass / plexi glass are available in 3/16, 1/8, 1/4, etc. I think may 1/2 and 1 inch pa pero medyo pricey and mabigat na.
