COASTNET BAR, KATIPUNAN ( near mini-stop and pan de manila)

The drum kit is a generic fernando model. 14" metal snare, 12", 13" and 16" toms and a 22" bass drum. hard ware is pretty usable. a decent hihat stand, ride boom stand and crash stand. cymbals are a 4 piece ZILDJIAN ZBT PLUS whic is pretty much usable. drum throne still usable. bass pedal is soso. . . the only issue? the drum heads are still the stock heads. but, all in all, the drums are pretty good.

what you need: almost nothing, but if you're picky, a snare and a decent set of cymbals would do.

Saguijo bar, makati

drum kit changes from a tama to a yamaha maple custom. stands have no felt or washers. crash is a to hihat cymbal. hihats is a sabian pro i think. ride is a 20" scimitar ride. id suggest you bring a crash and the clamp for the top hat.

i think wala pang route 196,

drumkit is tama with tama stock cymbals. id suggest you bring cymbals!

hope i helped out. cheers :-D

Sige... post ulit ako one of these days... I bring my own kit to 70's Bistro and Mayric's kasi e kaya di na ako updated sa mga condition ng drums  dun... Tignan ko ulit yung mga yun.

Sir, how do you transport your drumkit? Sa car niyo lang po? Who helps you set it up?

Mga sir,pwede pa ba magdagdag?
sa Club Dredd po,kasi kanina may gig kami dun...Sonor yung drum kit nila and may 2 stand yung isa dun boom stand..kaso yung boom stand nila is puro electrical tape.then wala pang mga felt washer...yung mga cymbals eh puro wasted na...

What to bring:
Cymbal kit, felt washers, cymbal stands, drumsticks(as usual),drum key for tuning and drum throne na rin.....

Dayo Bar

Kit is a red Gretsch Blackhawk (hindi EX, one of the lower-end models, but better than a lot of generics) with fusion sizes (14", 10", 12", 14", 20"). The snare needs tuning, but it's pretty decent.

Hardware is all-Gibraltar. The cymbals are ZBTs, but one time we played there, they swapped out the ZBT hats with an amazing pair of 12" A Special Recording hats. What else... the ride is cracked.

What to bring: Ride lang actually. But if you want to improve your overall sound, bring a whole cymbal set and a snare.

P.S. You're Fred, right? Drummer ng metalcore band nila Shane? :-D

The snare sounds decent din naman...naka-mic naman eh...the toms are not tuned properly nga lang

It feels nice nga dun eh, knowing that it is a non- smoking bar.

They are now using a silver peavey drum set. I haven't played in Mayric's for a while though kaya d ko alam yung specs ng ibang hardware nila doon, pero pag dumadaan ako doon nakikita ko naman yung changes.

Sa Gweilo's naman, I played there just the other week, comment ko doon, Gweilo's makati has the smallest drum set that i have ever played on. 18'' lang yung bass drum.
