Thanks, meng. Yung totoo n'yan eh hindi ko talaga hilig ang kulay pula. Kaso quomo karamihan na ng pedals ko eh pula, eh sinagad sagad ko na.

Eye catching kasi yung pula. I remember nun boy scout years. Kung naliligaw ka among the group, wave a flag that is a color white & red (OT).

Yes bagong music body nanaman. Malamang 8 hours ka nanaman mag gitara niyan. Ang linis bro. Hiya nga ako sa Vintage/Tube OD/Dist kasi magulo pa wiring nun. Proto-type kaya pag kung bibilin hindi pa recommended. Pero ayus na ayus tunug nun. Anyway bro, my overall ratings is 5 star. Ganda, galing talaga.

Well here is mine. It's a:
Vintage Tube OD/Dist
with Crunch/Freq Booster.

Wala pang soundclips pero tested na ni sir spyrogyro and sir phoenixrising.

Dati ganito pa lang itsura niya. Wala pa yung circuit.

Proto-type man ang circuit, binawi ko na lang sa labas para naman hindi mukhang proto-type ang itsura.

Tutal ako lang naman ang gagamit. May future plan ako na magbenta niyan kaso napakarami ko talagang naka line-up na projects plus tambak na orders sa psu and cables naman ngayon. Nasingit pa yung mga walk-in repairs.

This is like "The Fast and the Furious" crowd pero pedals and effects. Take a stock pedal and make it better! Cool stuff!

Anyway, any of you guys heard of any mods to the Boss BF-2 Flanger? May noticeable volume boost pag on and it sounds too over the top as well as a little noisy. Any mods to specifically make it better?

Sir Emil: Gaganda nung mga gawa n'yo. Pag hindi na gaanong alagain itong anak ko gagawa na rin ako ng pedal na may board. Sa ngayon eh TBP loop at TBP A/B box pa lang ang kaya kong isingit sa panahon ko.
Yung dating loop ko eh may bibili. Kahapon nung kinuha yung Dyna Comp eh nagustuhan. Pero putol yung positive na connection sa DC jack kaya hindi ko muna ibinigay. Babalikan na lang daw n'ya pag na-repair na. OK na ngayon, baka Mierkoles ang pick up. Yung isang yun talagang parang pubes ang wiring. cheesy

BF-2 Info and Mods

Take out C7 (.047uf) and stick in a .01uf cap in its place and see if it makes a difference in terms of how high you can crank it and still like it. Actually, you can do the same for C21, which is also a .047uf cap.

You can also simply swap the BBD chip in the flanger for a different sound. The BOSS HF-2 Hi-Band flanger is basically a BF-2 but with an MN3204 where the MN3207 was. The MN3204 is a 512 stage delay chip and is pin-for-pin compatible.

Shifting the delay range downward (in time) and the notch locations upward (in frequency) may achieve a tone you like more. Once the MN3207 is desoldered and a socket retrofitted, you may find that you like chip-swapping the way some folks swap amp power tubes depending on their mood and needs.

Yung mga katulad kay bart. I know marami nyan on-line. e-bay madaming mod kits. www.epektos.com meron din (pinoy version). Sa alexan di pa ako nakakakita ng enclosure pero meron din dun, not sure nga lang kung metal.
