when you can build it right inside your guitar ?

My RJ PRS - Panggatong Really Sya

And there's the low-noise, FET-based 6dB clean booster

True Bypass, switched in and out via a push-pull potentiometer knob

The boards are being manufactured as we speak. It will be hitting the streets soon.

nice. clean boosters are often overlooked. players should really take the time to fool around with one, if they haven't yet.

this had been a long standing debate in my own head. an internal boost circuit definitely has its appeal and advantages. but i eventually opted for a pedal for the following reasons:

1. i wouldn't need a circuit for each of my guitar and wouldn't be bummed if i needed to use someone else's. one circuit in a compact enclosure solves that.

2. my favored booster circuit has two knobs and a toggle switch, all of which i tweak with some regularity. installing those on a guitar (plus the battery and circuit board) isn't really appealing to me. but i suppose this point is moot if all you need is a simple clean boost which you do not need to tweak.

Man this guitar Rocks!!! I saw this in the March Hazy Nights EB at purple haze... grabe ang ganda ng tunog...

I remember Sir BAMF said that it has 3 scalarizers in it, the Metal, Crystal and the Acoustic. Not to mention the boost at a pop of the POT.
Well that is if I remember everything that he said while I was drinking... hehehe

Ang nipis lang nung guitar body pero ang ganda talaga ng tunog... I was wondering if it was the PUPs but I guess it's stock....

O did I forget to mention na Ang Ganda ng Tunog? hmmmm  :-D :-D :-D

this thing can circumcise the uninitiated when you pull on that knob to engage the boost!  :-D

i couldn't believe the punch and gain we got through the amp when  was messing with it. less tap dancing and more fingering

Caparison has clean booster options in their guitars if you want them but theirs comes in a pull/push pot assembly. Mine came with one and it works well with my AC Booster to cut through the mix. From what I understand, they can tailor your cavity assembly to suit your needs if they already don't have a guitar out that can work for 'ya.

Hi Jobet,

Congrats on another great product! Tanong lang: fixed at 6db yung boost? or variable?

Have been looking for an inexpensive equivalent to the 25db active midboost in the Fender EC and Buddy Guy signature strats. If this does the same, then I'll be waiting in line for mine!

Around P500 lang, but board lang yun.

I just might (depende sa usapan) consign units with Elegee para sya na mag-install.

But that doesnt include the pull-push pot, which also costs P500 as well.

Without a way to switch it in, it will turn on the moment you plug in a cable into the guitar. Then just control the level with the volume control.
