My contibution to the thread!

FINALLY, My Dream Guitar has arrived.

Meet Pepper, my 1965 John Lennon "REVOLUTION" Casino:

It even has the gold Grover tuners and comes with the removed pickguard

The guitar feels and sounds MAGNIFICENT! Get Back na Get Back ang tunog! When i first saw the guitar i said S&*T! Tsaka parang nakalimutan pinturahan! 1 coat of dull laquer lang kasi ang paint.. just like the Original Lennon casino! Asteeg!

Only 1,965 of these were made as a tribute. mine is #1,598 of 1,965  :-D
Had to leave the Original Epi Hardcase in the US..I used an SKB hardshell case when i checked it in thru PAL cargo  :-P

A dream come true for a Beatle fanatic like me  :-D

for high gain amps sir i believe semi-hollow / hollowbody guitars are really prone to feedback because the way they are built. even if you don't have a high gain amp but let's say you use high gain pedals you still get the feedback. as from sir nineworkz of the band EVEN, he uses a jazzbox as well and he uses noisegates. Pre Gating and Post Gating :) hope it helps.

What do you mean? Sorry, I am a bit noob regarding those terms. Did you mean that noise gates helps in controlling unwanted feedbacks and squeals?

Don't become obsessed with sounding like one particular player and sounding exactly like him.

Hey Bro! By NO MEANS is your Cassie an inferior guitar..I had the sunburst MIK Casino for 3 yrs before i got the Lennon, and i have to say they sound pretty much the same ( nasa settings lang ng amp ).

It still has the dove tail joint at the 16th fret, combined with P90 pickups and a full hollowbody that creates the distinct sound that is purely, and only the Casino  :-)

jamming na to ng Drive my car, And your bird can sing, Day tripper! :)

Konting trivia lang mga sir, did you guys know that the 1965 Sunburst Casino and the Revolution are one and the same? Lennon had the paint professionally stripped so the wood could breathe!  :-D

Nothing complements a semi-hollow/hollow body/jazzbox more than its own hard case.  The more road worn the hard case, the better (destination stickers are optional).  Likewise, the more the hard case plush linings look like they came from a New Orleans brothel, the "Mojo"-er.  Really badass.
